What do you mean........ Challenge 56 at Completely Christmas Challenge

A day home today with no children to babysit and no real urgency to do any shopping and it gives me time to finish off some more of the weeks washing and to sort out some of my craft gear. I'm looking for a particular stamp and I just can't find it!!!! It's a great huge wooden stamp so what have I done with it, lol.
Anyway, before I go completely insane I will share my DT card for Completely Christmas Challenge this week. Our sponsor is the fab Bugaboo Digi Stamps and I've used a stamp that I bought a little while ago called  Puppy - enough reindeer and the theme for this week is Anything Goes with a twist of No Sentiment on the front of your creation.

Here is my card......
the image comes with a fun sentiment ~  "What do you mean Santa has enough reindeer?" and I will be putting that on the inside of my card.

Recipe:
SU Garden Green cardstock for the basecard and mattes
White cardstock from stash
DP from Francheville 12x12 paper pad - Christmas Basics

Time to Soar Challenge 128 at Aud Sentiments

A cold and blustery March day, lots of dark clouds scuttling across the sky. I managed to get two loads of washing done and hung out. Popped in to my daughter's house to look for something for her and couldn't find it but it wasn't a wasted trip as I put her re-cycling bin out while I was there. I had an enjoyable afternoon crafting with my friend Jane and I'm just about to go out for tea with hubby. We have a new challenge starting at Aud Sentiments and our sponsor is Lacy Sunshine and our theme this challenge is an Anything Goes but don't forget the all important addition of a sentiment on your creation.

A Handbag treat container Challenge 55 at Completely Christmas

It's the weekend already and so far its been go, go, go. Went out early with our youngest daughter to a market and bought fruit and veg, then to pick up a hood for a baby carrier from a lady's house then back here to drop off the pram (which takes up all of my boot space) and then met my other daughter at Costco to buy a few items for her daugther's christening and 1st birthday party tomorrow. We went to her place for lunch and now back home for a short while to type up my post and let the other granddaughter get a nap. I still have to go buy the ingredients to make a carrot cake to use as the birthday cake tomorrow. But.....need a coffee first, lol.
Onto the details for this week's challenge at Completely Christmas Challenge Blog. The theme is Anything Goes with a twist - to make a gift/treat or keepsake
Our sponsor is Dazzling Ace Designs and I've used this vintage image of a little girl holding a doll. It is a rectangular framed image, but I have just punched out a section to use on the front of my handbag.

Circus Time Challenge 51 at Crafting From The Heart

The weather's hot so that means the washing machine is droning away getting those laundry baskets of never ending dirty washing clean, lol. I've been catching up on some that I put off doing while I had my cold and now that I am on the mend, it's back to doing all those chores once more!
I'm taking a break from creating another DT card and popped in to write up today's post and schedule for tonight. I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. I'm babysitting again today, this time is's our one and only grandson who will be 4 in a couple of months and at the present he is blissfully snoozing in my bed. He still has an afternoon nap when he is here with me and is quite willing to do so. He shares a room with an older sister and I think they do quite a bit of chatting before they drop off to sleep!
So... onto the new challenge at Crafting From The Heart - as usual it is Anything Goes and this week our sponsor is Ppinky Dolls and I used this lovely little image of a girl clown riding across a tightrope. Check the images out at the Etsy Shop.

Challenge 54 Completely Christmas

Another lovely day and so far I've spent time with both of my daughter's and my two youngest granddaughters. Started out here at home with youngest daughter and also youngest granddaughter calling in to make some hessian bunting as she is trying to firm up a date for their wedding next year and wants to start making decorations along the way for a vintage themed wedding. She bought a huge amount of lace in a second hand shop for a bargain price and I already had some hessian so we have been busy cutting the hessian and pinned it to the lace. She wants to stencil some heart on as well but we'll wait till we've got it sewn together and keep fingers crossed it turns out ok! Then we jumped in the car and headed out to a shopping centre about 30 mins from home to meet our eldest daughter and her little girl who will be turning one year old this month. We had lunch and a wander around the shops, back here so Rachel could get her car and drive back home in time for her partner to load up his musical gear for a practice and then a gig tonight. So...here I am typing away getting this post ready to share my DT card for Completely Christmas Challenge which has a new challenge starting today. I hope you come and join in and take the pressure off  yourself by slowly getting your Christmas cards or decorations etc done before the mad December rush.
This week we are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear and I've used a pre-coloured image which I re-coloured some sections with my Copics to brighten it up. I re-coloured the coat, headband and bows, stripes on her tights, her hair(I just brightened what was already there, didn't attempt to put any shading in)  and her skin.
Here is my card..........

SU Garden Green cardstock for mattes
DP from My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper stack ~ Snowed in  - winter papers (a freebie with magazine)
