Here's the second one

This one I made using a background made from the scrap rubber waste from new sets of SU stamps stuck on an acrylic block. The image was given to me as a gift with one a card swap, I think they have used a crayon resist technique to colour the image. It's different, what do you think?

It's very quiet at the moment

Hi, I've spent this morning mucking around on the computer and it is so quiet here! Haven't even got the tv on for background noise. Anyway, thought I would share a couple of cards. This is the other joy fold card I made for my swap with birds as the theme,
I think it turned out okay so I hope my partner likes it,

Anyone for coffee?

Well, I'm still up and it's a new day so before I take myself off for a much needed sleep, thought I would share this card with you. Again an old retired SU set but the sentiment is still relevant to send to family or friends. Well goodnight!

Finally, made some time to post

Well, I didn't realize so much time has gone past since my last post. Have had a really bad leg and to top it off have succumbed to the dreaded cold, and am sneezing, coughing etc. Feel absolutely lousy!. I haven't done much cardmaking, but I managed to purchase this retired SU set called Equestrian Dream for only $22 american dollars after looking for the past 12 months and it always selling for $50 - 60 American. I have had to make a joy fold card for a swap so I made a second one using one of the horse stamps from this set. Just love the stamps. Hope you like it,
Sandy

One for Christmas

This one is for my Christmas Stash. A cute creddy teddy 3D mounted on a backing made with a tree Cuttlebug folder and one of my stampin' up label punches and rose red ink Again hasn't scanned well the base card is a very dark green with a white topper.
thanks for looking,
Sandy

here's another one!

This one was made last night. I attend a craft group on Tuesdays and have fun learning about stamping with my friend Shirley, a great teacher, generous with both her friendship and the time she puts into coming up with things for us to try. Thanks Shirley, much appreciated. This is a card made using a patchwork technique on the Big Shot Top Note Die. Another fun card.

Thursday, 26th August

Hi everyone, thought I would have a go at adding some cards to the blog. So here goes. This is one I came up with late Tuesday night to teach at my Wednesday craft group. The colours have not scanned true, The base card is brown with a light fawn cuttlebugged piece layered on top and then I used these lovely flower stamps from Hero Arts. A set of 4. I used creamy caramel to stamp the images and sponged around the tag.

Hello and welcome

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I'm not sure what I am doing, but LOL hope to get the hang of it and be able to keep this blog going. I've been cardmaking for about 11 years and my latest craze is stamping. So many things to discover in what I thought was a simple craft. I really enjoy learning new techniques and passing them on to my friends. Hope to share some of my cards with you in the near future. LOL just as soon as I work out how!

 Bye,
Sandy
