Bird Cage

Hello again, I took my car in to be repaired today and they told me it would be ready in 3 days. I was hoping that maybe it would be ready in two but they rang me this afternoon and said it was all done and I could pick it up. Yeah! The insurance company provided a taxi to drop me home this morning and then come and get me to go back to pick it up. That was great as it meant I didn't have to trouble anyone to give me a lift. The repair place was about 30 mins away and the roads were quite busy, glad I didn't have to pay for the taxi as it would have cost at least $30 or more one way!
Anyway the car looks good with its new bumper, no more dent and crack!
The card I want to share today is made with a bird cage die cut from my friend Shirley, she gave it to me a while back and I have been thinking about how to use it.
This is what I came up with.
The basecard is brown and is from my stash, the DSP is from a pack of mini papers, I think it was Crea8tiv. I used a new set of stamps from SU called "Language of Friendship" and punched it out with the bird punch from SU. It left a white edge around it, so I ended up cutting that off by hand. The flowers were made from scraps of the DSP. I rolled two with the pattern on the inside and one with it on the outside. I cut the leaves with a die. The greeting is also from SU, I finished it off with a ribbon and some bling.
I'm going to enter this one into Make It Monday Linky Party #54 - theme is anything goes.
And also Challenge 1 at a new challenge blog, Crafting When We Can, the theme is anything goes
Thanks for stopping by and all the wonderful comments too,
Take Care,
Sandy
