With Love & Caring

Hi, well another week over and the start of hopefully a relaxing weekend, No craft with my friends tomorrow as Judy is busy - in fact we may not have craft for several weeks as she is off to Bali soon for a holiday. We were all moaning about withdrawals last week,
It has been another blustery, overcast day today, not a lot of sunshine. I went out to a craft group this morning, stopped in at the local shops to look for a black 3/4 sleeve top. It wasn't easy to find one, I had to go to 4 shops before I found a top - it was the only style in the shop and there were only 4 left, I tried on two sizes and decided on the smaller size. Luckily, I actually like it too! The top is to wear in a choir concert next month, I'm hoping it will not be too hot by then, we usually wear a white blouse and black skirt which are all the same. This time they wanted us to wear the black 3/4 sleeve top and black trousers and luckily they don't all have to be the same, it would be a nightmare trying to get so many of the same product because all the spring season clothing is out now.
The card I made for today is a Sympathy card as I don't make very many of them and I thought it would be good to have a couple in my card stash.
The basecard is SU Elegant Eggplant (I think) DSP is from Rosie's Papers - mini stack
The image was pricked and stitched (paper embroidery technique) and I coloured the hands with Copics. The sentiment and butterfly are from the same set made by SU, I coloured the butterfly with a copic marker, I corner punched the white piece of card and matted it onto bluecard stock. I cut the sentiment out with the wide oval punch and finished it off with faux stitching using a Marvy Marker,
I would like to enter this into Flutter By Wednesday #172 Challenge which is "Anything goes", must include a butterfly, fairy or angel.
Well, off to finish watching CSI Miami and then bed,
Thanks for stopping by today and I've enjoyed reading all the lovely comments left for me,
Welcome also to new follower, Amy, hope you pop in from time to time.
Take Care,
Sandy
