A girl and her dog

Hi, another reasonable day today, so spent the morning doing some of that pile of washing and actually hanging it outside to dry. I made a card also this morning for a post later on next week. I then popped up the shop to get some biscuits for afternoon tea at craft this afternoon. I was running about 30 mins late after waiting for a load of washing to finish, but the weather was too good to miss as it is supposed to be raining for the next 3-4 days.
I did some colouring of images at craft and looking at a magazine on my friend, Jane's "I-pad" and talking too!
One of the girls is making an unusual pin cushion - quite large and a very unusual shape so it sits on your lap when you are sewing. Her daughter was doing that as well, Jane was busy making cards and Ann was learning to "tat". She spent a lot of time doing a little bit, undoing that and redoing it again. She was trying to make a little tatted cross.
Hubby, youngest son and I went out to a hotel for tea tonight and then our son went off to the gym, hubby went visiting a friend and I went off to see "What to expect when you're expecting" at the cinema. I went with our two daughters, a friend of their friends and one DIL. Our other DIL was supposed to come too but there was a mix up and she had gone to the cinema near home instead of the one about 30 mins away near the other girls.
So... unfortunately by the time the mix up came to light, it was too late to drive up to the other cinema and she had to turn around and go home. The film was very funny - we all had lots of laughs.
Well, here is my card,
I've used SU Elegant Eggplant for the basecard, a layer of SU Wisteria Wonder. The DP from Grace Taylor - Fashionista Scrapbook papers was adhered to the front of the card and using a nestie die I cut a circle out creating a window. I then used two different nesties together to cut the little scalloped frame. I added a sentiment from SU Petite Pairs and adhered it so it jutted out into the hole. On the back of this on the left hand part of the inside, I matched up another circle with another sentiment. I added a strip of the DP using both of the cardstocks to create mattes for the paper. On the right hand side of the card I also added a strip of DP matted with the Elegant Eggplant and adhered to a piece of the Wisteria Wonder. I stamped the girl image (from a secondhand set of stamps, so don't know whose they are) onto white card, coloured it with Copic Markers and then cut around the image and adhered inside the card so you could see the girl through the window on the front.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Divas by Design - Challenge #37 ~ Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by to look and for the lovely comments too.
