Oh What a Feelin'...

Today's the first of June, the year is just racing away isn't it? The rain that was forecast held off and it turned out to be a nice day. I caught up with friends, Shirley, Doug and Fran for coffee. Fran and I are hoping to take a cruise early next year and I had some paperwork I wanted to show her so we can make a decision on when to go. Fran dropped me off and after a quick phonecall to Mum, I drove up to our daughters (plural!) house and we went bridal gown shopping. The Matron of Honour met us at a coffee shop and we had a quick lunch and then hit the bridal shops. It was fun watching Katie trying on different styles and seeing how happy she looked. There were a couple of favourites chosen so she has to still make a final decision. I dropped them back to the coffee shop carpark as we had left one car there so we could all go in the one car.
I arrived back at home just as 2 of our sons arrived, Laurie, our youngest who is a motor bike mechanic had gone to work as normal today and was called into the office as told he had been made redundant and instead of him working for the next month as required, he finished early and will be given a month's pay plus his other entitilements. So now he is without a job. He still has a massive loan on his motorbike. I think his boss is not a very nice man, especially since they had bought a second line of brand motorbikes and were looking toward Laurie managing that side of it.
Well after a bit of talk about his job situation, we only had just enough time to make something for tea and get ready to go out again. My nephew turned 21 today and had a get together at a Pool Hall. We enjoyed seeing other family, and playing pool. Wow, I haven't played pool for a very long time!!! I'm not very good!!!!!!!!
We had some finger food and a lovely decorated sponge cake.
So, we were quite late getting home and as I hadn't had any time to craft today I've just finished this card.
Here is what I used.
Basecard is SU Garden Green cardstock. The next layer is SU Wisteria Wonder card and the DP is from My Mind's Eye ~ Totally Girl 12x12 paper stack. The image is a digi from Mo Manning and coloured with Copic Markers and cut out with Reverse Wonky Triangle Dies. As the next size up is quite big, I chose just to draw around the outside of the one I used and then it gives a smaller border of the Garden Green card. The sentiment is from Art Impressions - Just Say It!, an unmounted repositionable rubber stamp called What a feelin'.
I decorated the inside also with a layer of the Wisteria Wonder, used a piece of the DP and also made a diecut in white card and then did the same as the front with the purple card.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
(back soon - I have to look for some)
Aud Sentiments Challenge -  Challenge 55 - Use any sentiment
Southern Girls Challenge -   Challenge #45 - Dying to Diecut (or punch)
Thanks for all the wonderful comments being left and for popping in to look at my cards and see what I've been up to as well, LOL.
Take Care,
Sandy
