Vintage Floral

Welcome, another cold day here but no rain until late tonight.
I went off to Shirley's as usual for our weekly get together and made 3 wonderful cards, Thanks Shirley!!!
Doug (Shirley's OH) was having a morning in bed as he has been a bit off  but was up before we left and in a much improved state which we were quite happy about!!!
Fran and I stopped off for lunch and then headed to a craft shop where I knew I could pick up some cheap plastic folders that have a plastic slide to close them. They are great for stamp storage and I've discovered that I can fit my nestie dies in with just a slight chop to the instruction sheet. They take up less room and are much better than the hard plastic containers that the nesties come in.
Home again and thought I had better try to get at least one load of washing done - I always do my clothes after my hubby's and son's work clothes but I was starting to get desperate for long sleeve tops and jumpers!!!
We are starting to rehearse new music tonight and the choir conductor has also decided she wants to hear all the sopranos sing individually so am going to have to have a song up my sleeve that I can sing without music. She is going to do it outside rehearsal times, so it will mean a trip out to the hall where we rehearse at 3 p.m. next Tuesday and then be back there again for 7.30 p.m. choir rehearsal. Not real thrilled about doing it.She tells us that it is so she can move us around and blend the sound correctly. We thought she had already done that at the end of last year.
Anyway, I came home and watched the tale end of a programme on tv and sat down to finish off this card which I started last night.
Here is the finished product:
