On the Farm

A warm welcome to new followers, Patricia and Sue, nice to meet you. I hope you will find something here to interest you.
It's been a warm spring day but turned quite windy late afternoon and I can hear it gusting out there now still. Our daughter who has been working away for several months was supposed to come home this  Friday , but had the opportunity to come home today, arriving about 5.30 p.m. We kept it secret from her fiancee!!! I talked to him on Sunday and asked if he would call in here before going home from work tonight so we could have a chat with him. He was worried about what we had to talk to him about. He asked if it was something bad and I kept saying, no, no, it's nothing bad. I think I had him worried.
It was about 7.30 p.m. when he got here and I left the hallway light off on purpose. Katie hid inside my room which is at the front of the house, I let him in and as he walked down the hallway, Katie come out behind him, he turned around to say something to me and saw two figures behind him in the dark. He couldn't believe she was home.  I asked him later how he had liked our little "Chat"  LOL. He was very happy.
It was choir rehearsal tonight but because we had this planned I stayed home - also my throat is not so good and probably a good reason to not sing.
Well, as usual I am at the tail end of the day sitting here in front of the computer.
I had better hurry up and finish this as I have our little grandson to look after tomorrow and better get some sleep.
I chose to do a male card tonight, but not really happy with my colouring of the motorbike, it's really hard to know what is what on this image!!! I haven't put a sentiment on it yet, but probably will later.
Anyway, here it is....

 Front of the card

Inside of the card

Recipe:
SU Early Espresso cardstock for the basecard
DP from stash - pale green and distressed with SU Choc Chip Inkpad.
SU Creamy caramel for the diecut on the inside
Nestie Die - Curved Rectangles - I cut the image with the larger one and then using the same one and a smaller one, I made a frame to sit on top. Both pieces were ink distressed with Tim Holtz - Vintage Distress Ink.
Images - I used two on the front and one on the inside - they are from Stamp-It  (Australia)
I stamped the motorbike coloured it and then cut around it and mounted on the outside of the frame with foam dots. If you look close, you can see the two farm dogs on the bike too.
Copic Markers
SU Choc Chip Inkpad
