A couple of recycled Christmas cards

Started today off with another visit to the Optometrist - I went last week and the person I saw was not very helpful and we both got frustrated about which lens was better or worse, I think she was trying to do it too fast and she ended up saying she wouldn't prescribe new glasses and to come back today. I saw a different person and he was more patient and I had less trouble deciding on what was clear and what was not!  I had to have dilation and check my eyes for any bleeding ( due to diabetes) etc. Well, luckily that was all clear and I am all set to get some new glasses and a pair of prescription sunnies too!!!
A friend picked me up and took me there and drove me home as I wasn't allowed to drive for 3 hours. I went to craft this afternoon and then we went out to tea with friends tonight. No choir practice so I've had some time to watch tv and to make a few cards.
A lady at church asked me to make 20 cards for them to give out. I was given some fronts of used Christmas cards and she wanted fairly simple cards made. So here are two of the 6 I made tonight.

This first one, I embossed a piece of white card, then backed the image with some red card and mounted it with foam dots. The sentiment is from SU More Merry Messages  and I used SU Real Red inkpad

The second one is on a SU Night of Navy cardstock cardbase with a layer of white embossed with dots.
I stamped a sentiment (from SU) on the side in Night of Navy ink and then attached the picture
The sentiment doesn't show well here, but it says, "Oh tidings of comfort and joy"

Okay, that's it from me, I didn't sleep that well last night so am heading off shortly to bed.
Thanks for stopping by.
Take Care,
Sandy
