Ella from Wild Rose Studio

As the weather man predicted, we have had a real scorcher today. After saying I was going to stick close to home, LOL. I picked up my friend, Fran and we went and met Shirley and Doug for coffee. We then popped up to the craft store, where I spent the last of my Christmas money on a couple of new Nestie Dies.
I dropped Fran home and then ducked up to the local supermarket for some much needed supplies.  I was home about an hour and then hubby turned up. His work had let the workers go home because it was well above their hot weather policy. I left him here and went back over to Fran's and we coloured a few images. I tried to help her with her shading and also resizing digis on the computer.
Back home once more and was thinking about making a zucchini slice for tea and Fran rang up and invited us out for tea at the hotel.  Much better than slaving over a hot oven in 43C heat!!!!
LOL, I did spend some time home today.
I've just wasted about 20 mins or so going through all of my saved digis looking for the image that I used on this card. When I had finished and still not found it I realised it was actually a real stamp and knew immediately which one it was . It's a shame I didn't have that flashbulb moment 20 mins ago, LOL. I have a stack of images awaiting colouring and I really have to try and write down where they come from so I don't have to troll through all the files everytime!

So here it is...........

Recipe:
SU Elegant Eggplant cardstock for the cardbase and mattes
White card from stash
DP is from DCWV -Blossoms & Butterflies 12x12 stack
Nestie Die - Reverse Wonky Rectangles, Labels Eleven
Memory Box Die - Quinn Flourish
Punches - Photo corner punch
Image - Wild Rose Studio - Ella with Wand
Copic Markers
SU Elegant Eggplant inkpad
Sentiment from SU Small Sayings
Bling from stash
Kindyglitz for around the neck and base of dress.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Flutter By Wednesdays - Challenge #221 ~ In with the New, can be New home, baby etc or use something new ( mine is the Nestie Die Labels Eleven which I bought today and used here for the sentiment)
Simon Says Stamp - Challenge ~ New something (again this is my new Nestie Die)

(hopefully will find a few more tomorrow)

I'm off to try and get a bit of sleep. Will have the fan on in the bedroom overnight to try and get a bit of relief from the heat.
Thanks for stopping by and also for the comments left for me to read.
Take Care,
Sandy
