Thanks Big Time!

Hot, hot, hot here. The house was reasonably cool this morning, but by about 1 p.m. the air conditioner went on!!! Stayed home and indoors for most of the day, just a trip out to the letterbox and one to hang out the dogs' beds on the line and I hosed them down as well to keep them cool. Tomorrow is going to be about 43C so I don't think I will be going very far then either.
We went out for tea as usual tonight and our youngest daughter came along and brought a new guy she has met with her so we could meet him. There was a wedding reception at the hotel and they all came out to the main room to order food and pay for it individually so we didn't even attempt to order for about 20 mins or so and we didn't get our food till well after 7p.m. Luckily our church choir has a break over January so I didn't need to be anywhere or I would have had to leave before getting my meal.
I did have some time to make a card, but I sat down and watched a movie on tv which has only just finished a little while ago so am still late putting my post on, LOL.

Here's the card....

  4. See, those temperatures are one of the reasons I'm glad my mam and dad finally decided not to emigrate with us kids, back in the 60's....hahaaa! My Celtic skin and blood just wouldn't have stood it, and I am always getting invites from my cousins to visit (they are mostly in Perth) but I'll stay with my British rain, frost and snow, thanks...heehee.
Another fab card, Sandy....very sweet image and really looks good with those papers. x
