MIM#159 A Stitch In Time with Rick St. Dennis

Well the weekend has finished and a new day has begun. Yesterday I went off to church in the morning with my hubby and they had a church luncheon to raise money for a mission hospital in India that they have been sponsoring for about 12 years. We came back home, hubby went off and bought a trailer and I went shopping for some food to take up to our son's for a barbeque. Adrian left before me so he could mow the lawn before we got there and I boiled up some eggs to curry, made a salad and cheese platter, threw in a yeast bun. I grabbed the two dogs and headed out as well. We had an enjoyable night with all the family and I offered to bring our youngest grandson home with us for the night as he is normally here Mondays anyway and will save my DIL some time getting organised in the morning.
It's time for a new linky party to begin at Make It Monday .    We had so many wonderful entries last week and are hoping for lots more this week. I hope you are managing to get to some of the other blogs and check out the wonderful creations!
Congratulations go to Kerry as our featured artist and to Kit as the winning commenter. This week we are being sponsored by the very creative Rick St Dennis and I chose this delightful digi called A Stitch In Time to work with. I hope you like what I did with it.

Here it is........
This first picture was done in the scanner with the card closed

and the second one here was taken outside on the cane chair with the card opened.

and the last one is a close up of the image itself....

It's POTW Time - Yeah!!!!

The fun part after spending the week commenting on various entries is to browse all the entries and find one or two to feature here on my blog. I hope it's yours!!!
I've chosen two entries. The first one is this lovely encouraging card from Pia at Pias Papir op Perler and you can find it here

The second entry I chose to feature is from Sweatpea at Jan's crafty spot and can be found here. Fab embossing and those flowers look wonderful

Well that brings my post to an end, please drop in on my teamies and leave them a comment about their wonderful creations. You can find all our blog links on the Make It Monday Challenge Blog.  We all love to hear from our Make It Monday entrants and any one visiting.
Don't forget to pop on over to as many of the other entries as you can. Some lucky person will be the winner of Rick's marvellous digital images.
Good luck.
Thanks for stopping by,
Take Care,
Hugs,
Sandy

  1. Hello Sandy, this is a great card... I love the window into the card so you can see the image you have there. Sounds like you've been busy, enjoy your grandson. I found you through MIM where I have the following project linked; Ghost Card and Free Cut File, would love it if you'd stop by too.
    Hugs, antonella :-)
