MIM#164 Steampunk with Meljen's Designs

Another Monday has arrived and with it the start of a new Linky Party at Make It Monday
It's been a quiet weekend. Friday night I had a meal out with my Mum, older brother and my Uncle Jim, who had come from Western Australia to Sth. Australia to do some work. I picked him up at his hotel and I have only seen him a couple of times over the last 10 years and there I was waving at this man and he wasn't responding, so I waved again, still no response so I started to think I was waving at  the wrong person. He finally approached the car and realised it was me after I had waved at him about 6 times and was becoming very self conscious, LOL. We drove to the restaurant and had an enjoyable meal and catch up.
Saturday was a quiet day at home and then Sunday we had church. Hubby decided it would be nice to go to a local hotel for lunch on the way home. He had an afternoon nap and I rang a friend and we went to a craft shop together and bought a few essentials, lol.....
Hope you had an enjoyable weekend and are ready to join in the fun at Make It Monday this week!
Congratulations to Jackie as the featured artist and also to Heidi as the winning commenter. Hope you enjoy your prize.
Our sponsor this week is Meljen's Designs Digital Stamps and I was lucky enough to have this wonderful image called Steampunk Girl to play with.

One of my favourite things to do on Monday's is to share my POTW with you and yep I have again chosen two entries.
This first one is a delightful Christmas Tag featuring a Tim Holtz snowman stamp, just love it! You can find it here on Wendy's Card Craft. Great job, Wendy!!!

The second is by  Nicole from Nicole's Craft Nook and you can find it here on her blog.
It's a gorgeous image and I love the mushroom paper and the little mushroom embellies on the seam binding bow. Thanks for sharing with us Nicole.

Time for me to leave you, but before I do I would love it if you popped in to my fellow teamies blogs and left them a comment. We are looking forward to checking out all the wonderful entries this week, so come on and join in the Party. Don't forget, to be in the running for the sponsor prize this week, you need to do a bit of blog hopping to some of the other entries and leave a comment mentioning that you saw them on MIM.

Thanks for stopping by,
Take Care,
Hugs,
Sandy

  8. What a fun Steampunk design! All the elements fit the theme perfectly! I've never done anything in this style myself, but it's a style I find really fascinating and interesting. One day I will have built up courage enough to give it a go myself.
