Christmas Stitching

Hello and welcome. It's time for a new challenge at Get Creative Challenges. Our theme for the challenge is to include some stitching. It can be Real or Faux stitching.
Our sponsor is Star Stampz and here is what I created with one of the images........

Recipe:
SU Real Red cardstock for the basecard
SU Cucumber Crush for the matte
White cardstock from stash
Image is from Star Stampz ~ Christmas Elf Ornament
Sentiment is from Close To My Heart ~ borrowed from a friend
Embroidery pattern from one of my many Hobbydols paper embroidery books
La-La Land Corner Die and some of the negative pieces as well
Nestie Die - Captivating Squares (for the inside of card)
Gutterman Threads
Copic Markers
D/S tape roller & Foam Dots
Bling from stash

I'm running a bit late again as one of hubby's friends is down from Queensland for his brother's 50th birthday. He has Down's Syndrome and is a lovely guy so turning 50 is a big deal for him.
We travelled up into the hills to have dinner with all the family. Another brother travelling from New Zealand to help celebrate.
It has been another wet & wild day and we could see some of the flooded areas and also some of the exit roads were closed off as well.
So.... off to bed for me,  Hope to see your entry over at the challenge blog.
Thanks for stopping by,
Take Care,
Hugs, Sandy
