Something New - A new year at Get Creative Challenges

Hi, once again. Apologies for such a late post, but as previously mentioned, I've been busy organising Mum's funeral and sorting out things at her unit. We finally found her will after going through all the rooms except the kitchen and that is where we found it!
The funeral was Friday and now I've realised I didn't put my post into schedule mode so am here to sort it out.
Our first challenge for the year is to make a card for Something New. All sorts of subjects come to mind and I chose a card for a New House.
Our Sponsor is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps
Here is my creation.....

Digi Stamp image is called - Gnome Sweet Gnome from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps

Love to see you joining in over at the challenge blog with some of your creations.
Hugs, Sandy

Cocktail time

Challenge time at Get Creative challenge blog. Our theme is Anything Goes with an optional twist: Favourite Colour Combo.
Our wonderful sponsors for this challenge are: Color of LovePattie's Creations and Digi Drawn.

My favourite colour is purple, so I've used several different shades as well as a green colour to create my card.

Hope you like it.....

Products used:
Cardstock from SU
Papers from a very old package of papers. I've lost the name of the maker.
Image is from Digi Drawn - Cocktails
Sentiments are also from SU stamp sets
Copic Markers
Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad
Acrylic dots from Uniquely Creative
D/S tape foller & foam dots.

Well that's it from me. Come and join in the challenge. We'd love to see your creations.

You're one cool cat!

Hi everyone, a quick post before I head to bed to share my DT card for the new challenge at 613 Avenue Create. challenge blog.
The theme is Anything Goes with an Optional Twist : Use more than one fold.
I've cased this card template from a friend who saw it online so not sure of the origins of it. It's a normal top fold card with an extra layer (longer than the actual card) attached to it that has an extra fold to create the panel at the front. I've added an extra photo to show it slightly sideways.
Here is what I created:

Products used - Cardstock from SU
Paper was from my scrap pile but I think was SU as well
Images and sentiments were from a recently purchased stamp set and also a stamp set from SU
Punches - Square and Scalloped Square, Small oval, Large Oval and Scalloped Oval.
Acrylic adhesive hearts
Copic Markers
Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad
D/S tape roller & foam dots

Hope to see you popping over to the challenge blog to check out my teamies creations and to add some of yours.
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs, Sandy
