School Dayz challenge

 Well I've been unwell with a weird rash on my foot that has caused concern as it kept getting higher up my leg. Numerous doctors visits with medication and then get sent to the hospital and from there to a preferred clinic because there was a 7 hour wait and because it wasn't considered urgent it meant that I would probably keep getting bumped back to accomodate more urgent cases. Anyway to cut a long story short, still don't know what it was and am sort of on the mend!

So...... a late post for 613 Avenue Create Challenge blog. Hope you have popped over and joined in the challenge. We are an Anything Goes challenge with an Optional twist which this month is "School Dayz". I've gone with the optional twist and here is my card......

Beep, Beep... I'm Little But Loud!

Robots are universal.....not only do the kids like them but quite a few grown ups like to play with them as well, lol. In fact, there are many sophisticated and complex versions available on the market.  My card today for the new challenge at Get Creative challenges features a cute robot. There is no twist for this challenge, just an Anything Goes theme. Our sponsors are - All Dressed Up,  Colour of Love and Goha Stamps.

Well, time to share my card.....

Recipe: SU Black cardstock for base, white card from stash for mattes and diecuts, black card and gray card for the cogs. Image is called: Clunk, Clunk. Sentiments from stash ( forgot to check before posting who they belonged to) Cogs are a mixture of dies I cut a while back. Paper is from Kaisercraft paper pad. Copic Markers, Double sided tape, and foam dots

Stitched Unicorn card

 Wow, I'm finding the year going fast once again. April is upon us and it's Easter already. So a new challenge starts today at Simply Create Too Challenge Blog. The Theme is - Stitching - Real or Faux.

I've chosen to go with real as I enjoy paper embroidery and haven't done any for quite a while. Here is what I created.....

All materials from stash including the stitching pattern and the lovely metallic threads that I've purchased over the years. One of the reasons I should do more stitching as I have a lot of spools of thread that need using up, lol.

Space Puppy

Wow, have had a rough few days with my tonsillitis and still not feeling that wonderful. Last time I checked the challenge hadn't gone up for Get Creative Challenges and I thought I had scheduled my post to go on anyway....but.... my fogged up thinking processes have let me down. I was just popping in to check for any comments and saw that the post is not up at all. I am going to quickly remedy that!
