Anything But A Card with Gingerloft

Busy, busy this week. Please scroll down and check out my previous post and let me know what you think.
The challenge at Gingerloft this fortnight is to make anything but a card!!! I've made a little pillowbox thanks to my good friend Shirley for helping me out cutting it out with her die on Friday.. I've made it into a little treat box for a Christmas gift and will fill it with a little chocolate later closer to Christmas.
I've used an image from Gingerloft Digis of a little snowman and added a sentiment and a punched snowflake. Cute!!!

Here it is.........

Image is from Gingerloft Digi Stamps and is called Country Snowman
Sentiment is from SU

Time for you to get creative - we would love to see your wonderful creations so get busy and come on over and link your work up with Gingerloft Challenge. Looking forward to dropping in to some of your blogs too.

G'Day Mate - It's a Small World - DT Card for Gingerloft

Hi everyone, yep, it's that fortnight again when there are 3 posts close together. PLEASE go look at the post below (love it if you leave me a comment so I know you've been) and also pop in tomorrow to see my DT card for Make It Monday.
The theme this fortnight at Gingerloft is It's A Small World - represent where you are from!
Well as some of you know I live in Sth. Australia and I've chosen this cute Gingerloft Digi of a Koala up a tree. I've added some hand-cut leaves that sort of look like gum leaves, LOL. Also green and gold are the colours we use to represent our country so I've included them in my card.
The sentiment is also from Gingerloft.
Here is my card.....

Recipe:

Yellow cardstock from stash
White cardstock from stash
DP is a scrap from stash
Nestie Die -
Image and sentiment are from Gingerloft

Tweet Friendship -GL59 Gingerloft DT card

Another weekend over!!! Stayed home today and made a DT card and sorted through some boxes, got rid of some scrappy bits of paper and card that I've been holding on to for to long. The recycling bin gets emptied tomorrow so it was a good time to be filling it up. I even found a pattern for a beaded necklace (one using needle and thread) that I bought over a year ago and put somewhere then couldn't find it. It was still in a small pink paperbag so it was lucky that I thought to peek into it before throwing it out!
Anyway, I had better get on and share my card with you. Make sure you come back tomorrow to check out my DT card for Make It Monday. Unfortunately my DT card for Gingerloft clashes a bit with that one so have to do two posts close together.
This fortnight the challenge over at Gingerloft  is to use Ribbon and Bows

Love is in the Air - Gingerloft DT Card

Hi all, it's been a long day. Church this morning and instead of taking 10 mins to get there it took about 25 mins as I had to do a fair sized detour to get into town. They still have the street shut off due to the bike tour. The service went a bit longer than usual  as it was a little boy's first birthday, Mum is Korean and Dad is from Nepal and they have no family here in Australia so they celebrated with the church congregation. It's there custom for each person to get a gift so they gave us all a little hand towel with the little boys name and birthday on it. They then had a bit of a party for him at morning tea and did a traditional little game with him choosing from different items and that would be hopefully something for later on in life. He chose a cotton real and that was meant to depict long life. They also had him choose from some scrolls and these had scripture on them.
I left there and dropped by home to pick up the Baked Pumpkin Cheescake and cream to take to our son's place for a family get together. Hubby left late afternoon to go to a housewarming, I decided not to go as I'm tired and I also had to go next door and water plants for the couple who've gone away for a couple of days. I put their bins out too. Adrian was going to do it, but since I was already there it wasn't hard to drag them out on my way back.
Now I'm just going to veg out in front of the tv for a while. I have my card made, ready to share, so here it is.....  This is my DT card for Gingerloft Challenge, we would love to see you come and join in with the "Love is In the Air" challenge theme for this fortnight.
