An Oriental card for my guest spot at Sisterhood of Crafters

Hi everyone, nice to "see" you again. Today is my second posting for The Sisterhood of  Crafters challenge blog. I've had a good morning at craft with a new lady joining in with my small group. Luckily I had taken a few extra bits and pieces so was able to get the new lady straight into making the cards I had designed. We had three cards to make but only got through two of them. Now we have two weeks off as the craft groups run by school terms.
Still waiting for our granddaughter to make her appearance. Our daughter's due date was Sunday so bubs should make an appearance soon.
Well, better get on and share my creation......

Here is the card I made for the challenge ~ the theme is Lots of Layers........

Recipe:
SU Naturals Ivory Cardstock for the cardbase
SU Crumb Cake
DP from Stash
Image is a rubber stamp I purchased from e-bay a couple of years ago and have never known the maker.
Sentiment is from Close to My Heart
Copic Markers
D/S tape roller
Foam Dots

The DT over at the challenge blog have made lots of lovely creations so please pop into the blog and check them out and we would love you to join in with the challenge. Hope to see you there.
Hugs,
Sandy

Step Sister Spot at The Sisterhood of Crafters

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying your day. We have our Royal Show on this week and I drove our two daughters, one granddaughter and grandson to the showgrounds and we have just got home about half an hour ago. It's been a long day but an enjoyable one.
Today I am posting as a Step Sister on The Sisterhood of Crafters Blog  and the theme for their challenge is "Single Layer Cards"
Here is the one that I made for the challenge.....  It's got a dark background behind it so it would show up on the scan.

Recipe:
SU Natural cardstock (this is a slightly thicker cardstock with a fleck in it)
Image, corners and sentiment are all from the same set by Close to My Heart
SU Chocolate Chip inkpad
Copic Markers

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
7 kids College blog -  Challenge #108 ~ Anything Goes
Cards Und More - Challenge 114 ~ Clean and Simple
Cardz 4 Guys - Challenge #35 ~ Clean and Simple

The team at The Sisterhood of Crafters, would love to see your creations so please join in the fun. I'm looking forward to being part of this team for the month, so stay tuned for my next card for them on the 24th of September.
Would love to have you stop by and leave me a comment too.
Thanks so much,
Take Care,
Hugs,
Sandy
