Another week closer both to Christmas and to the birth of our next granddaughter. Hope you all have had a good week. The last couple of days have been beautiful Spring ones. It's nice to just wear one layer instead of 3 or 4, lol. It's still chilly at night so the fire is still lit about tea time. I'm afraid I forgot to post my card to the blog last Saturday even though I had my card made at least a week before it was due. I was so busy with cleaning and organizing for the baby shower, it completely went out of my head.
I'm ready this week though.
So..... here is my card
Recipe:
SU Real Red Cardstock
White cardstock from stash
DP from Kaisercraft
Image is from Lacy Sunshine ~ Sammi Boo Caroling
Sentiment is computer generated by me
Nestie Dies - Rectangle

Hello Baby
A quick post as I'm in the middle of tea preparation. I purchased a magazine from Kraftyhands recently and it comes with a disc so you can print off all the sheets you need to make all the projects featured in the magazine. I thought I would have a play with this one which is for a baby girl. Cute isn't it. I have changed the card around and used only parts of the printed sheets and some things from my stash to make it my own creation. I have used the sketch for the current Kraftyhands challenge so will be entering this into the challenge. It's a just for fun challenge.
Here is my card..... The image is been made 3D with several layers thanks to the CD
I am entering my card into the following challenges:

Post-it Note Holder - Challenge #86 613 Avenue Create Challenge
Hi all, well it's been a busy few days getting organised for our youngest daughter's baby shower. All my craft gear has been hastily shoved into boxes and bags and put in my craft room. Not sure where all my bits and pieces are so there will be a bit of searching going on from time to time. I really need to pull everything out of the room and reorganise it. Just means making a mess somewhere else in the house until it gets done!!! and I don't think I have the time or the energy to tackle that job (it's definitely a big job, lol.) at the moment. Only four more weeks (maybe, lol) till our new little granddaughter's birth.
Well, I had better get on and share my new creation for the challenge starting today at 613 Avenue Create. This week the theme is as usual Anything Goes and the optional twist is to make a post-it note holder. I was able to choose this lovely teapot filled with flowers from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.
Our sponsors this week are........Bugaboo Stamps, All Dressed Up and Di's Digi Stamps.
Here is my Post-it Note Holder...... a simple one using a piece of velcro dot on the pencil to hold it on. I enjoyed creating this one.

Punch - Karl punch ~ Small Fern
Well better head off, we still have the 3 oldest grandchildren here after a sleepover last night. They've had their lunch and now they are concentrating on pulling the toys out and playing all over the rug here behind me. They are getting picked up shortly I think and I've warned them that whatever gets pulled out has to go back in again. I'm pretty easy going so I'm not all that bothered but it's good to teach them to at least help put it all back in order.
All of the DT would love to see you popping in and commenting and we are looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations this week. Maybe you will get enthusiastic and create something using the optional twist. Such fun seeing all the different types of Post-It Note Holders.
Thanks for stopping by.

Challenge #113 - Your favourite Season - Aud Sentiments Challenge
Time for another challenge at Aud Sentiments. We are being sponsored by the wonderful Sassy Studio Designs and the theme this time around is - Let It Go - Make a project for your favorite season
[and don't forget the sentiment!]. Winter is very appropriate for me at the moment as we are in our last month of the season and it is bitterly cold. No snow or ice we don't get cold enough for that in Adelaide but the wind has been icy and not a lot of sunshine around at the moment. The fire has been going every day starting earlier in the day if I am at home. Our little grandson is sick with yet another cold so had to make sure he was nice and warm.
The DT were given a choice of two images and I chose this one called Frozen Heart to make my card with.
Here it is.... Not quite happy with her cloak, the colours didn't blend as well as I would have liked, I will have to check out my Copic Markers and see if there is another pink in between. Might have to make another purchase to fill in the gap!!!! It actually looks better in real life than it does in the scan.
I have made a z fold card to showcase this wonderful image......
Recipe:
SU Night of Navy cardstock for the z card base
White cardstock from stash
DP is from Bo Bunny
Image is Frozen Heart from Sassy Studio Designs
Sorry can't remember where I got the sentiment - could have been a freebie
Nestie Die -
Copic Markers
Black Memento inkpad
Blue ink was from Close to My Heart (a friend let me use her inkpad so I don't know the name of it)
D/S tape roller
Okay, that's me done for the day, I'm just about to get organised for a crafting afternoon with friends. We would love to see your creations this challenge so don't forget to pop in and link up one of your fabulous cards. The DT would also enjoy a visit from you so why not check out all our blogs and leave some comments. It's always nice to hear from you and to see what you think.

The Ants are marching One by One - Challenge 84# at 613 Avenue Create
Another busy day and I forgot to schedule my post. I've been to church this morning where several of the choristers were away, so we had quite a small choir. We also had a baptism so church ran a bit longer than normal. This afternoon I've been standing with a couple of my daughters at a trunk show for Katie's new venture into the world of Ju Ju Be bags. She and another girl were having a show in our local park. It was in the shade and so cold!!! I've come home after chasing my husband up to go back and pick up our trestle table (it won't fit in my car). The fire is going and I'm in the cold lounge room editing my post.
