Bliss

 Yay, another challenge has started at Get Creative Challenge Blog. An anything Goes themed challenge with an Optional Twist. This time around, the twist is to "Show Water". Our Sponsors for the challenge are Oddball Art, Pattie's Creations and Sweet'nSassy.

My card was created using an image from Oddball Art.  Here it is.....

Recipe:  SU Pretty Peacock cardstock, White cardstock from stash. Dies - MFT stitched rectangles. Punches, SU Circle punches, DP from stash. Image is from Oddball Art - Hanging lightbulbs Whimsical Mermaid in Bathtub, Sentiment from SU Bliss Stamp set, Copic Markers, Wink of Stella - Clear and tiny gold bling.

Watercoloured Sunflowers

 Hi everyone, a new challenge has started at 613 Avenue Create and this month our Optional twist is : Watercolour.

I've chosen to use the twist for my card and here it is.....

Recipe: SU Early Espresso cardstock and White cardstock from stash, Sunflower stamp from freebie stamp set - The Cafe Riviera and Sentiment is from a freebie set also, The Music and Dance Collection. Tiny gold bling, Watercolour pens (used on a clear stamp block with a waterbrush) D/S tape roller. The inside has a piece of white cardstock with the sunflower stamped partially on the right hand bottom corner and left uncoloured.

Well that's me, am heading off for a very short holiday with my daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters. The weather is not great but so far it has not rained. Heading towards the coast but not sure whether we will get a walk  along the beach. Depends if the rain stays away for at least part of our trip.
