Hello once again, I have a new follower so a big welcome to Vicki. It's been a lovely Spring day again today but it's supposed to rain tomorrow. My friend Fran came over this afternoon and we had lunch together and then popped out to a craft shop. They were closed for a very late lunch so we popped in to the kitchenware place a few shops down. Fran wanted some little pie pans and I was interested in looking at a fish steamer. We came back to the craft shop and went inside, all the shelves had been taken down and the stock was just piled into the floor units, even the 12x12 papers. We were then told that it was there last day!!! We could just get what we wanted and then they would tally it up and do a deal and we would get a gift as well. I ended up getting $30 discount and the gift was probably worth $40 plus dollars as well. A 12x12 paper stack, several packs of rub-ons, some fabric embellies, letters and some stickers too. And a lovely big gift bag which I can re-purpose, LOL.
I cooked a roast piece of pork for tea, my hubby is starting early and getting home about 6:45 p.m. at the moment, so we had a late tea and I forgot completely about choir practice - it was 8 p,m. when we finished our meal and choir rehearsal started at 7.30 p.m. so too late to go!!!
