Hi again, another warm day - My friend and I went this morning to Shirleys and we made 3 cards, 2 male ones and one for a female. It was good to get a couple of extra male ones for the stash. We stopped for a quick bite before heading out to a store that sells bags, purses and wallets as Fran had bought a new purse and wanted to get a matching bag. They didn't have one in the same colour. We called in to the craft store on the way back because she had left her sunglasses on the counter. Was very good and only bought some glue and just one stamp.
A bit of housework in the afternoon and a chat to Mum on the phone. We had dinner out after Adrian rescued our son who had run out of fuel on his motorbike, and then he went off to finish helping a friend move house and I went to choir. We have two more practices next week and then the concert. That means out singing Monday, Tues, and Wednesday evening, it's going to be a long week.
So after coming home late from choir I thought about making a card. I saw a comment on a friend's blog about it being refreshing seeing something other than Christmas cards so I chose to make a "Thinking of You" card.
Here it is.....
Front of Card
Inside of Card (the blue is showing a bit bright on the inside - should be same as above)
SU cardstock (one of the blues)
SU Crumbcake cardstock
DP from SU and Kaisercraft
Pearls from Stash
Nestie die cut Deckled Rectangles
Image is from a piece of Graphic 45 DP
Sentiment from a set of clear stamps (lost the packaging)
I am entering this into the following challenges:
I'm babysitting tomorrow so I'm off to bed,
Thanks for stopping by and also thanks to those who left comments.
