Julian & Lindsay - DT card MIM #121

Well Christmas is over and the New Year is nearly here too. We have enjoyed Christmas with family and friends and made merry over the last few days as well. It was my hubby's birthday yesterday and we had our family and a couple of friends over for a barbeque. I squeezed some time in yesterday to make this card for MIM DT this week. LOL, I had to find all my craft bits and pieces first and it had all been hastily stored away in the mad clean up dash before Christmas and I dread trying to find things at the moment.
I hope you all have had an enjoyable and safe Christmas period and our now geared up to join in the very last linky party for 2012. We are looking forward to lots of wonderful entries.
Congrats to  Kaija for being the featured artist from last fortnight and also to Michaela for being the winning commenter.  Hope you enjoy your prize.

Double Teabag Holder- Tuesday Alchemy

Christmas is nearly over here in Sth. Australia, It's been a long day and I didn't get much sleep last night. I stayed up till 3 am to stuff the turkey and get it in the oven. I went to bed but got up about 1 1/2 hours later to check the turkey - I don't think that I slept that much. I went back to bed, but still didn't really sleep and was back up at 6 am and then ended up staying up -- preparing vegetables and cooking the roast pork as well. I left that in the oven and we went off to the city for church. A 9.30 service but I had to be there at 9 for a run through of the two songs we were singing.
Last night I went with a friend to a 11:30 pm service and got home about 12:30 a.m. so.... it has been a very long two days and nights for me.
I did enjoy having all our children and their other halves and the grandchildren here at once. It doesn't happen very often. My sister and her 3 children and our good friends Fran and Kim and one of their sons were here as well, so there were 21 of us for lunch.  Mum was asked by my brother to go to his place for Christmas so she said Yes and was spending the day and night with them and also my eldest brother and his new wife.
Hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas together.
Well, I had better get this in to share with you..... I'm not sure what happened but this was supposed to be my last DT project for Tuesday Alchemy - I had tried to put my little teabag holder in but had problems and then when I had another look found I had already been taken off the group and then had no contact. I've decided to share what I made anyway and encourage you all to take a bit of time to create something for the challenge.

Here it is........ I've taken a pic of it sitting on top of my alphabet Noel Blocks

Recipe:
Double sided paper from SU
Image is from an SU Stamp Set(not sure of the name)
Scraps of card for matting
Copic Markers
Blue ribbon from stash

I made the double tea bag holder and slipped a couple of choc bars in the middle and then I put a gift card in one of the little pockets and a little message in the other. This went out as a gift to someone for Christmas

Okay, time for me to go to bed and catch up on my sleep and for you to get creative and join the Challenge over at Tuesday Alchemy. I wish the challenge blog much success and thanks for letting me be part of the team for a short while.

Sandy

Two Carol Singers

Well, not long now, only 6 more sleeps as the grandchildren would say. I wrote out Christmas cards today and posted. Did a little bit of housework and called in to a local shopping mall to get some jewellery for all the girls in the family. Now just have to get something for my secret santa and two of the grandchildren and just something small for all the fellows. How are your preperations going? We went out for our normal Thursday pub meal with friends and a couple of our kids and then went back to another couple of friends house for coffee and we all piled in the car and went out to look at Christmas lights at one of the streets in a suburb not far away. Lots of people and cars and fabulous lights on people's houses and in their yards etc.
Back home and a bit more moving things around and then I sat down amongst my piled high craft table and put this card together. I have one or two more cards to make to give out at church to friends on Sunday.
So here it is....... just the front done at the moment will get to the inside tomorrow.

Recipe:
SU Kiwi Kiss cardstock - top folded for the cardbase

Birthday card for Doug

Hi everyone, late again tonight! It was our last choir concert for the year tonight and capped off 3 nights in a row of singing. Our concert went well and I think people enjoyed it. A cup of coffee afterwards with some of the choristers capped the evening off and just popped on to share my card.
I had the grandchildren today as well and the girls helped me put up the tree and decorate it. We popped out to the shops and grabbed a couple of groceries and some t-shirts for Isaac for Christmas and a new pair of sandals for him too. Layla had put her own shoes on in the morning and had two different sizes of shoes on LOL. She has two pair of the same ones but the new pair were a size bigger!!!  Luckily she had managed to have both a left and right shoe. They saw Father Christmas wandering around the mall giving out cardboard elf hats and they were able to pass on what they wanted for Christmas too.
Well, I had better get on and share the card I made for Doug and then get some sleep. Tomorrow will be trying to pack away some of my craft gear in prep for Christmas day.

Front of card (my friend took these pics with her i phone after I gave Doug his card so I've already written in it!)

Inside of card ( I did the sentiments on the computer and didn't leave enough room to diecut the inside one  as I had other the drummer boy and another couple of images on the page too so had to cut it out by hand and adhere to the diecut. I should have done it again, but just ran out of time!)

Recipe:
SU Early Espresso cardstock

Sentiments I made up and printed on the computer

Tilda Chocolate Slider Box - DT project Tuesday Alchemy

Hi, it's time for another challenge over at Tuesday Alchemy. Much to my dismay I managed to forget my DT card at the end of last month and as I was originally asked for a 2 month term and only twice a month, my project next week will be my last time as a DT there. This time the team was asked to make Anything but a card so I chose to make a chocolate slider box which I will be giving as a gift to someone at my church. A yummy block of Lindt chocolate can be seen peeking from the top of the slider box!!!
I'm going to add another diecut on the back so I can write a little Christmas greeting

Recipe:
Pale Red/pink textured cardstock
Scrap of white card

Memento Black inkpad

Still have housework to do. presents to buy, food to organise and I'm now looking after the 3 grandchildren for another week and then  our DIL will be finished work and have 3 weeks off. So will have a bit of a break for a while.

Anyhooo!!!  It's time for another linky party over at Make It Monday and the boss has decided to run this one for two weeks to give us a little break over Christmas, but that means you also have more time to put your entries in as well.

No card again tonight

Hi everyone, it's just been so busy the last few days that I've not found the time to make a card to share. I have made a couple of DT projects but can't share them yet . We've had Mum's Birthday, our new SIL's birthday, a Christmas family get together at my husband's cousins. Church today and then I took my DIL to the craft shop. She is going to be making her brother's wedding invites. She wanted to use some embossing and was thinking of buying a machine. I didn't think she would get the use out of a new one (she doesn't craft much) so I sold her mine for a reasonable price, I had spare plates and also the embossing mats. I'd been thinking of buying another Cuttlebug for a while now so while we were at the craft shop I purchased a new one. When I bought mine it came with all the plates including the "C" plate which you now have to buy separately!!! I decided to buy the longer plates as well as I have a couple of the long dies and it will make it easier to use them.. I asked the girl at the shop whether all the plates came with the machine and she said "yes" I dropped DIL home and then came back here, unpacked it and that's when I discovered that there was no "C" plate. I rang my friend, Fran to see if she wanted to come with me and then went back to the shop to purchase the plate. They had a class going on and quite a few customers I looked around and couldn't find one and they were so busy that we ended up ringing the other store  they own and then travelling up there to buy it!!! I saw a card up there that had a nutcracker soldier image on  it but they didn't have the paper but we were told the first store had it. LOL, we stopped there on the way back home to buy it. So.... three trips to one shop and one to the other in one day and I wasted several hours just to buy myself a new Cuttlebug!
We had tea at Fran and Kim's and then we went to a Carol's Service at a local church, It started at 9 p.m. and finished about 9.30. We went back to Fran's for coffee and chatted and then back home.

Well that's been my busy day, housework tomorrow and babysitting the 3 grandies and then a choir rehearsal, It's going to be a crazy week!!!
So goodnight, see you next week.
Hugs,
Sandy

Christmas card for Jane

The hot days are all rolling in this week!!! The house is starting to warm up and stay hot all night as well.
We had the fan on in the bedroom last night. There were some more thunderstorms around the place but we only had a few drops of rain and the temp dropped a couple of degrees and then went straight back up again. We had our last Thursday craft group for the year today, only 3 of us - we did get some bits and pieces done with Jane being the most productive making 3 or 4 quick Christmas cards using various stickers. They did look good. I coloured a Mo Manning image in with my Copics for later use.
The card I am sharing today is one I made this morning for my friend Jane for Christmas.
Here it is....... This is a shaped card using a Nestie Die....

Recipe:
Green card from stash (about 5 years old)

A Bucket of Flowers

Not sure where I got this image, if it was a digi, a stamp or if it was received in a swap? I coloured it up a while ago and have just "found" it LOL so thought now was a good time to make it into a card.
It's been a scorcher today with a funny little patch of thunderstorm in the afternoon. We had a fairly massive clap of thunder too!!!
I looked after Isaac and did a couple of loads of washing. Our DIL was 1 1/2 later than normal arriving to pick him up and then we went over to our daughter and new SIL's for a impromptu meal. They had a couple of friends over as well and we ended up having a barbeque meal.  We came back home and hubby headed off to bed and I watched "Cold Case" before settling in to make my card.
I coloured this one with Inks and a blender pen and I was pleased with the result. I added a paper doily (from the supermarket) and a sentiment in a scalloped circle with a bit of Faux stitching to finish it off.

Here's the front of the card(ran out of time to do the inside)

Dorothy - Wizard of Oz

Hi again, another warm day - My friend and I went this morning to Shirleys and we made 3 cards, 2 male ones and one for a female. It was good to get a couple of extra male ones for the stash. We stopped for a quick bite before heading out to a store that sells bags, purses and wallets as Fran had bought a new purse and wanted to get a matching bag. They didn't have one in the same colour. We called in to the craft store on the way back because she had left her sunglasses on the counter. Was very good and only bought some glue and just one stamp.
A bit of housework in the afternoon and a chat to Mum on the phone. We had dinner out after Adrian rescued our son who had run out of fuel on his motorbike, and then he went off to finish helping a friend move house and I went to choir. We have two more practices next week and then the concert. That means out singing Monday, Tues, and Wednesday evening, it's going to be a long week.
So after coming home late from choir I thought about making a card. I saw a comment on a friend's blog about it being refreshing seeing something other than Christmas cards so I chose to make a "Thinking of You" card.
Here it is.....

Ho Ho Merry Christmas - MIM #119

Well, the big day is over and our eldest daughter is now married. It was an interesting service in Greek and also English - no music (which I really missed) and no wedding vows either. It took about 45 mins in which most of the congregation stood. I decided to sit after our daughter came in as I knew I would have sore feet and knees if I stood for the entire service and I wanted my Mum to sit down as well. I heard afterwards that several others sat behind me.
I've been so busy the last few days that my DT card was left right to the last moment and I'm not sure if it will be shown on the Make It Monday Blog but thought I would still share it here and encourage you to  share your lovely papercraft creations on the linky party this week.
I would like to congratulate Marie on being our featured artist this week and also Desire for being the winning commenter.
Our sponsor this week is the ever popular Bugaboo Stamps and I chose this cute image called Ava & Deacon Christmas HO HO to play with. I coloured this one up about 11:30 pm . We had some friends drop in and after they left we had a very late tea which I cooked. Adrian had been out earlier when it was actually meal time so I wasn't sure what he wanted to do meal wise.
I've just chatted to my new son-in-law and am going to go pick them up from their hotel and drop them home so will quickly share my card and my POTW
I still have to do the inside of my card and when I finish it will edit my post to share the extra pic.
Here's the card......

My POTW is this beauty by Karin over at Trollkatta's Scrapping  and you can see more pics here. I chose this one I suppose because I am still in wedding mode myself and this is such an elegant card for an important day.

Well that is all for me gotta get the car seat back into the car - strap the grandchildren in and then go to town to pick up the Newlyweds.
So it's up to you now, we are looking forward to seeing some more wonderful creations this week, those last minute Christmas cards and gifts or some of your older creations too.

Angel with a Heart

Another busy day again today. I thought I had better get a couple of things done this morning as I will have two of the grandchildren tomorrow and that would make it just a bit harder to do things. I popped out to a local hairdresser only to find she was working on her own and couldn't fit me in. So I booked myself in to get a pedicure and manicure and some shellac nail polish done at 4 p.m. as I still wanted to go to craft at 1 p.m.
I then headed down to a bigger shopping mall to get my hair cut at a "Just Cuts" and you can usually get in without an appointment either straight away or about 30 min wait. I had my younger daughter dye my hair a couple of days ago and because it's been bleached for so long it turned out quite patchy and the colour I chose made my hair go a bit funny in places. The hairdresser said it looked a bit "green" not quite the colour I was going for LOL!!!!!. They only do cuts as the name suggests so I talked to them about if it would be okay to re-dye so soon or maybe use a colour shampoo. So, I left there and went to another hairdresser a few shops down to ask for more advise and ended up getting a semi-permanent colour put in and it now looks better but a lot darker too. I had the eyebrows(first time for everything!) done at another shop during the 30 min wait to get my hair cut. Also grabbed some longer kebab sticks from the supermarket to put on a few more of the wedding photo booth props that I am still doing (did some hats and glasses) and grabbed some new underwear to go with my dress and also checked out some more shoes which I think will be more comfortable than the ones I bought before and a little matching bag.
I managed to get to craft about 45 mins late and just browsed through some new craft magazines because if I had gone home to pick up my gear it wouldn't have been worth going at all.
So, hair is sorted (getting an up-style on Saturday with the bride and bridesmaids), feet and hands done, clothes and jewellery sorted, just have to tidy up the house now as a couple of friends will be staying the night after the wedding, get a bit more washing done too as I didn't get it done today (did do one load and got it hung out too before I got busy)
Thought I would spend a bit of time making a card, but didn't get started until late (I'm tweaking my post time as I'm still up and want to get it  in on today's date not tomorrow's LOL.)

Here it is, only the front as I've not had time to do the inside yet.

Recipe:

Gotta get some sleep, hubby is starting at 5? in the morning and is taking half a day off as he has to go to see an orthopaedic specialist - the insurance company want him to see one - this is still all about his motorbike accident claim.
Oops, he's just got up, probably won';t be happy I'm still up. He doesn't like my crazy late nights!!!
Oh well, will head off to bed,

Wedding Photo Booth Props

Wow, it's been a long day today. Up early organising some food for our Wednesday craft group concert and luncheon.. Our grandson was dropped off, grabbed some snacks and toys for him and headed straight out so I could arrive at craft a bit early. My friend and I sang two songs together at the concert and had a quick practice before everyone got there. Isaac decided he didn't like the singing and gave his own rendition, tears and all. Wel in the end he settled down and enjoyed the singing and the concert went well. After we had lunch, I dropped my friend home and bought Isaac home for a sleep before his other Mama came to pick him up about 4 p.m.  I then spent some time mucking around cutting these photo booth props out for our daughter to use at her wedding reception on Saturday.
A quick change into my choir outfit and set off in the car to go sing again, this time as one of the choristers of the Adelaide Harmony Choir. We sang at a Hospice. They have a ceremony at the end where they light up a tree in memory of people who have died. Family members can buy a light in memory of their loved ones and the tree stays lit until the middle of January. One of the Electricity companies donates the electricity to run it for free so the proceeds can be given to the Hospice. They provide us with a sumptuous supper. About 10:15 p.m. I told my friend I had better get going and I dropped her back home before coming home myself. A bit more time spent fiddling with the props, downloaded a few more (to do tomorrow) and now I'm sharing a small sample with you.

Sorry chopped off some bits when I scanned, aren't they fun!!!

Playing with Pencils - the finished product

Hi again, I found a bit of time to finish off this Magnolia image that I started last Tuesday in the Intro to Prismacolours session I went to at the local craft shop. I had only done the hair and skin last week. I only have a basic kit so had to use one purple to do the dress by adding more colour to get the depth.
I've used her on another Christmas card. I really need to get the ones I've done all together so I can see how many I need and then start writing in them and getting them into the post!!!
For this card I used a Nestie die to cut the tree on the card, using only half of the shape. I then cut another full tree to go over the top, first adding some DP to the card. I decorated with some gold border stickers and then popped the image on with foam dots. Finished off with a sentiment from SU and punched it out with the large oval, backed it with the scalloped oval. A piece of DP on the inside and a white tree diecut as well.

Here's the card......

A Quick Christmas Card

Hi and welcome - it's again been a full day. I got sunburnt/windburnt yesterday morning wandering around the auction with friends and then we travelled out into the country for our niece's engagement party. I was pretty tired when we got home about 7 pm and just sat and did nothing for a while. I had to have a cheesecake and a zucchini slice for a choir luncheon today. So... late last night I made a baked pumpkin cheesecake and then early this morning I made the zucchini slice. We went off to church and then rushed back here to pick the food up and then to the venue for the lunch. We got home late afternoon and hubby helped our son go pick up a motorbike to work on and then move the rest of his furniture and gear into the truck and drive to our daughter's where he will be living. It is at least 30 mins drive from here so hopefully he will get himself up early enough in the morning to get to work on time. He always leaves at the last possible minute and his work is about 15 -20 mins south of us. Traffic is always bad too from the area he is in now.
We are having my car, his car and DIL's car serviced here at the house by a friend who runs a mobile mechanic business. It's been forecast for a bit of rain, hopefully it will hold off until he finishes the cars or he is going to get wet!!!
I've been cutting out Christmas trees with the Cuttlebug for church to use next week, they want 160 of them. So far I have done 60 and probably have enough gold card to do another 30. I'll have to go buy more card, I thought 3 large sheets would have been plenty!!!
Anyway, that's another job for tomorrow. I sat down and quickly made this card because I didn't get one done yesterday. Just a quick card relying on a fancy diecut to focus on the sentiment.
Here it is.....

Front of card ( I haven't done the inside yet, but will make it fairly plain as well.)

Have a Bootiful Christmas

It is so hot here, another extreme day with a sort of cool change, rain this afternoon. I got wet walking back to my car, but it was still quite warm. The house is starting to stay hot too. Being stone, it tends to take a while to heat up and then the reverse to cool down.
We had our craft break up today (Thursday group) so we went out for lunch and then a trip to the craft store. Another stop on the way back to get a cool drink and then I went to the shops to try and sort my phone data usage out!!! . Tea out with friends and we sat and relaxed for a while as I had no choir practise to rush off to. Hubby walked past a woman eating alone and made a comment about her meal, just being friendly. Fran, went over to the salad bar and the woman approached her to see if he was her husband and asked if he drank as she wanted to buy him a drink. When Fran sat down she was telling us about it and I said that the woman was trying to "pick him up"  He said don't be silly and didn't believe me. Later on she came to our table and apologised for being rude and silly. She had consumed several drinks by then and her speech was a bit slurred!!!  It was all a bit weird, LOL.
So, I've spent the rest of the night watching a bit of tv and making a DT card and also this one.
Another Christmas card, I must put them all in the same box and count them to see how many more I need to make.

Nativity for Christmas

Wow, another full day, I picked up our grandson and then went to craft. I ended up with only one lady to teach instead of 3. One of them rocked up an hour late and then didn't even bother to come and sit with us!!! She bought something else to do instead of making this card I am sharing. The other one is her daughter and she ended up having to go to work. I suppose it turned out for the best as my friend and I had to duck into the church for a singing rehearsal in preparation for next weeks end of year craft breakup concert and luncheon.  I managed to get home, feed Isaac and myself and put on a load of washing. I then went and picked our eldest daughter up and took her to a fitting for her wedding dress. Also picked my dress and youngest daughters dress up as well. "Maria" the dressmaker is a lovely Italian lady and she only charged us $30 each. We were there about an 11/2 hours . I dropped Katie home and then came back here. Hung out the washing (it's been a stinkin' hot day again)  Rachel came for her dress. We both tried them on and then I had to get ready to go out to sing in a concert. A few of the choristers went out for a bit of food and drink afterwards. So..... I'm fairly late home and tired, so I am glad that I've already made my card for today.
Here it is........

Front of Card (sorry it's a bit fuzzy but best I can do at this time of night!)

Same Card!!!!  (scanned flat so you can see the picture better!!! Funny how the cardstock looks different in each picture. It is acutally a greenish blue colour!!!)

Playing with Pencils

Hi everyone, well it's been a busy day and a scorcher as well! I had craft at Shirley's today and we made 3 fab cards. A stop on the way back home for lunch with my friend, Fran. I forgot to refill my little tablet container, so we had to come back to my place to get my Diabetes medication. We then went back to her place for about 20 mins to fill in a bit of time before we went to a Techniques class at the craft shop near us. It was only a 45 minute class and it only cost us  $5.00, well worth it.  I bought some Prismacolour Pencils about a year ago and had been looking to buy some Gamasol or similar to try out using them and blending colours. Welll couldn't find it any where!!! Finally I was reading someone's blog and saw that they mentioned a product called Zest-it. They were from Queensland so I knew I must be able to buy it here in Oz. After doing some research I contacted an Art Store who dealt with the company and they were able and willing to order it in for me. So I purchased 3 lots for myself, Fran and Shirley. LOL, that was months ago and we've only just found someone doing a technique class on it.
Well, that was the whole day taken up and then I did a load of washing, the dishes!!! made tea and then went to choir practise and got home about 11p.m.  Since then I've been fiddling around with measurements to make a front panelled step card. I wanted it rectangular not square as it will then fit a normal envelope. I am teaching class tomorrow and that is what we will be doing. So, no card tonight but I am sharing my first little tiny bit of colouring with my prismacolours. Of course, these colours didn't come in the box I already had so had to buy them, they let us have them for half price because we used them in class.
I was happy with it for a first go and I suppose I will improve with practise, LOL.... one can only hope!!!!!

I don't have this stamp, but it is very cute!
What do you think....... How did I go with the blending?

Thanks for stopping by and for the comments on the last post too.

Sandy

We Three Kings - DT card MIM #117

Oooh!!! another week closer to Christmas and I'll have to start thinking about ordering food and finding presents to buy. We have an engagement, a wedding, several singing engagements, craft breakups, babysitting etc, etc....... It's a busy time, but for now I just want to let you know that there's a new Linky Party starting up over at Make It Monday and we would love to see you there.
Congratulations to Mandy for being our featured artist from last week and also to Carole for being the winning commenter.
We are being sponsored this week by the fab Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. I have used this wonderful image of three men out carol singing (as a singer, I'm always drawn to characters with their mouths open wide sharing the talent that God gave them - you don't always need to have a great voice, just the joy of wanting to sing!!!!)  and what better time to use your voice than at Christmas time, enjoying the carols with family and friends.
So here is my card......

Love the big star and snowflake and the twine wrapped and tied around the bottom.

There were so many wonderful entries I had to pick a second POTW and chose this cute little treat bag by Bettina and you can find it here on her blog, Bettands Hobbykrok - Bettina has also given a link to a tutorial for this little bag too.

Yep, you got it, time to party on, get those cards started and get linky with Make It Monday #117. The design team can't wait to see what you've created!!!!

Cute Reindeer

Hi, hope you are enjoying your weekend. The sun has been shining today - another warm Spring day. I got up this morning and remembered that I wanted to make a few little gift boxes to put a small chocolate bar in for my Saturday craft group friends. I remembered seeing one made with the scalloped envelope die, so did a bit of a search and found it. The die makes it so easy to make. I have a spare one here but haven't decorated it yet so will share it on another post next week. I had a couple of DT cards to get done so I did a bit of colouring at craft this afternoon and then helped my friend Judy with some papercraft projects to sell for one of the charity groups she supports. I came home to an empty house and a note telling me that my hubby was up at our daughter's house helping our son work on one of his cars. They got home about 11:45 PM and then our son realised he had left his phone charger up there and his phone was nearly flat and has gone back to get it. LOL. that's about 20-30 mins there and then the same back again. I suppose being late there won't be much traffic.
So.... that gave me time to sit down and make another Christmas card, I must go and put them all in the same box so I know how many I've got and how many more I still need to make.
This is what I came up with.......

A Night out on the Town

Hi everyone, no card tonight - it was our daughter's Hen's night and I went along with our youngest daughter and 2 DIL's and our son's girlfriend. We arrived and had a drink in the outside beer garden and then watched some dancers, one with a snake twined around her. Our table booking was very late so they bought some jugs of sangrai? (a bit like an alcoholic punch) around to make up for it and also served some bread with olive oil, balsamic and mixed herbs and spices. By that stage the beer garden had too many people in it and if you left there, you couldn't get back in until more people came out. Some legal thins about people to space ratio. Three of us had taken a seat just back inside the venue and then couldn't go back out with the others , we decided to just stay put and wait for our reserved table to be ready.
We paid $25 each and they just bought out different dishes - It was a Tapas menu. Mostly nice food and then they had live music as well as a DJ - Very loud, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We left about 11:30 and our daughter and her friends were still dancing on.
So, no time to craft. Our granddaughter Layla made a card today with a little bit of help but I forgot to take a picture of it.
Well must get some sleep, hope you have a fab weekend.
Take Care,
Sandy .

It was an interesting ceremony and then we all went out for a meal as the ceremony was at 6 p.m.
I got stuck into making this card to enter into a Monochromatic challenge.
So here it is......

A Cute little Hedgie

Oh, this week is going by at such a speed! I had 3 ladies on my table today at craft and we made a gatefold Christmas card. A couple of them were late so I had them going at different speeds for most of the class although by the end they got it altogether, LOL. We only have one more week of craft and then they have the annual concert and luncheon. My friend and I usually sing a couple of songs together and sometimes as a solo. Have to dig out some music before next week and find something easy for the pianist to play and something that I already know!!!
A night in tonight so I have been making some little gifts to give some of my crafting buddies on the weekend. I can't share them yet as I know a couple of my friends peek at the blog from time to time.
I did manage to make a card as well, but got started fairly late tonight.
So without any more chatter, here it is......
