Hello again, I made up for my failed clothes shopping day on Monday by finding a couple of t-shirts and a couple of long sleeved tops to take on my holiday later this month. I've had to get rid of quite a few of my favourite clothes as they are now too big for me. It's the wrong time of the year now for t-shirts as the new season's clothes are all in the shops and have been for nearly two months so I was lucky to find them. LOL, couldn't find a purple one though - it's the first colour I look for!! I had to settle for a black top and a red one.
I might get an early night (for me anyway) so here is my card for today.
I've used Kraft cardstock and no papers for this one. I cut another layer of the card and ran through an embossing folder that I got free with a magazine - it has little cameo images and dots all over. I added two pieces of white floral lace and then stamped the image in SU Early Espresso onto a deckled oval die cut. I left the image uncoloured. The stamps are from Hampton Art - Graphic 45, Key to My Heart. I stamped the key onto a scrap of Kraft card and cut it out and added a little heart shaped lock. The inside has another embossed piece with an oval on the top and I diecut the little rose from a scrap of white. I decided not to add any colour here either. The scans have not come up quite the right shade again and the inside looks like a different colour but it's not.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Divas by Design - Challenge 30 - Charmed I'm sure....use a charm
Paper Sundaes #115 - This week our challenge is our Sundae Bar! Each sundae bar features a selection of toppings. All you have to do is use at least two of our toppings :) This week our toppings are Kraft, Lace, Die Cuts and / or Charms - I used all the toppings!!!
Make it Monday #84 - Anything Goes
It was great to "see" you today and read the comments you left too. I enjoy reading them, Thanks.
Take Care,
Sandy
