Well, with all the things that had to be done prior to our youngest son's wedding, I just never managed to get the card put together. I had the image coloured and the scooter embellie but still hadn't had time to do it. Now it's been done for about a week and Laurie is interstate doing some training and Emma has gone to stay with him as well. She leaves for Vietnam on Sunday so I will be able to give it to them on the weekend. I think they are due home tomorrow night.
So I can share it with you here... I have now put a diecut inside with a message but have not shown that here in the scan.
By the way..... Laurie and Emma's engagement invite (which in reality was their surprise wedding) featured a scooter and his gift to her was a Vespa scooter which he had bought second hand and worked on. It looked brand new and she was delighted with it.
Here it is.....

This is such a fun wedding card, Sandy! At first I thought you had added the scooter as an alternative ride for the newlyweds, but learning it was the bride's gift from her husband I think it's such a lovely personal touch.
ReplyDeleteWonderful card!
