Anyway I had better get on and publish this as I still have a load of washing to hang out.
Hubby is trying on old clothes and has just waltzed out in some really old large black and red checked dress pants wanting to know if he should take them. I've told him if he does he will have to get his own taxi and somewhere else to stay, LOL.
This week we are being sponsored by the wonderful Ignacio of Nicecrane Designs. I've chosen to use this sweet image of a girl reading.
Onto the card.......
Recipe:
SU Early Espresso cardstock for the cardbase
SU Island Indigo cardstock for the matte
I found all the different embellies on the net free. I enlarged the printed one to make my background and then used Tim Holtz inkpad to lay on some vintage style!
The stack of books were already coloured but I coloured the backpack
Image is from Nicecrane Designs and is called Reading Girl
Copic Markers
DS tape roller
Foam dots
Ignacio is generously providing a $20 gift voucher to our winner!
Remember,
to be in the running to win the prize from our sponsor this week just
leave a comment for another entry. Be sure to mention you saw them on
Make It Monday. The more entries you comment on the more chances you
have of winning!
It's POTW time
Okay that brings me on to one of my favourite jobs as a DT Member of Make It Monday and that is to choose an entry from last week. It's always hard to narrow it down but I have fun hopping around checking out different blogs while I'm at it.So..... this week I'm featuring this sweet card from Jodi at Kaboo Designs just love the image and fab design of this one!
and also this one from Cathy from Cathys Card Spot love the cute bird. A fab CAS card.
Okay, your turn to dazzle. Sorry I won't be doing much visiting this week and I will be scheduling posts for the next couple of weeks so will miss doing POTW and commenting while I'm away.
Thanks for stopping by
Hugs,
Sandy
