Hi everyone, it's been bitter here in Adelaide the last couple of days. Rain, wind and cold, cold. cold!!!
I've been out today to craft this morning to teach, home for about an hour to have lunch and change into my choir uniform and then raced back out to pick up a friend and then off to sing in a concert. They had afternoon tea afterwards and I thought I would have a sandwich! It was on wholemeal bread with the crusts chopped off. I took one bite and thought what the heck is that. I pulled the bread apart and there nestled on the margarine spread was lots of chunks of glace ginger. YUK!!! That's something I would never put on a sandwich. Unfortunately I had to swallow the bit in my mouth, but the rest went into the dish with the used tea bags, LOL.
I've come home and realised that I forgot to schedule my post for the new challenge at the Perfect Sentiment which starts today. The theme this week is to make a Christmas card without using the traditional colours of Red and Green. Oh how my fingers itched to pick up those two colours but I didn't and I think my card turned out okay in Blue, Orange and white. The image I've used is one of the ones that is being offered as part of the prize this week.
So, here's my card.......
Front of card-
Inside of card
Recipe:
SU Midnight Muse cardstock for the cardbase
SU Tangerine Tango cardstock
White cardstock from stash
DP is from Bo Bunny - Snow Day collection
Image is one of the prizes this week.
Skates and Snowman on the inside are from a freebie with magazine purchase
Sentiment was from another freebie set
Dies - Nestie Fleur De Lis Rectangles and Curved Rectangles
Copic Markers
Crochet Thread
Punches - 1/16 hole punch, oval punch
DS tape roller
Foam Dots
That brings me to the close of my post and the beginning of the challenge at the Perfect Sentiment. We would love to see your entries but don't forget it must be a card and it must have a sentiment on the front.
Thanks for stopping by,
Take Care,
Hugs,
Sandy
