PSC97 Poinsettia Christmas

Hi everyone, we are back to cold, wet and windy here in Sth. Australia. So back into the long sleeved tops and the cardigan! I went back to choir last night after quite a few weeks off only to find they was no new music packed up for me for the upcoming Christmas concert, so had to wait until half way through rehearsal to sort out some for me. I can't find my copy of Messiah!!! so I've had to borrow one for the time being. I taught my two ladies how to make a treat box today, we had two tables for the 3 of us and spread out our stuff everywhere, you know the drill, punches, card, ribbon, score board, cutting board, trimmer, stamps, ink etc, etc, LOL!!! but they enjoyed making them. My friend, Joyce, who teaches folk art on another table came and told me she had made 5 boxes now at home. I taught her last Thursday and she was pleased she had remembered what to do. I did tell her that it is easy once you know how, so I'm pleased I must be doing something right. One of my DT teams had a gift packaging theme coming up early December, so I'm going to hold off sharing the treat box until then, so stay tuned!
Well, today sees the start of another challenge at the Perfect Sentiment Challenge Blog, we would love you to enter a card. Our sponsor this week is Diane's Daydream Designs
The theme this week is Poinsettia Christmas and here is the card I've made to share.....

Recipe:
SU Rasperry Ripple cardstock
White cardstock from stash
DP from stash ( I've had this one for years, lol)
Image is from Diane's Daydream Designs and is called Deck the Halls Outline Set
I fussy cut around the image and also the little white bits in between the leaves too!
Sentiment is from Hero Arts, poor little stamp is pretty messy after I lent it to someone last Christmas, ink everywhere!!!
Cuttlebug embossing folder - Divine Swirls (one of my favourites)
Punch - 3/4" circle
Eyelets from stash
String from stash
Copic Markers
SU Crystal Effects - I put this on the poinsettia flowers and you can see how glossy they are.
Other tools, Cuttlebug and Cropadile

 Here's our sponsor details.......

Okay that's it from me, We would love to see your Christmas cards featuring poinsettias and don't forget that all important sentiment on the front of your card.
Thanks for stopping by,
Take Care,
Hugs,
Sandy
