It's me again, back for the second time today! I have a month's GD spot with Incy Wincy Challenge Blog and this is my second card for them. Please scroll down and check out my Make It Monday card too.
There are two sponsors this week, Milk Coffee and Digital Delights. I used a freebie from Milk Coffee that I had already to make my card.
The theme this week is a Sketch - it's good to use sketches when our mojo has taken a back seat.
Here is my card and I will share the sketch further down in the post.
Front of card....
Inside of card.... the cardstock is actually a very dark green, but this looks black, frustrating scanners!!! I should have used the camera, but ran out of time today.
Recipe:
SU Real Red cardstock for the cardbase
Dark Green textured cardstock from Quill
White cardstock from stash
DP are from Rosie's Studio (a new pick up from the recent craft show)
Image is a freebie from Milk Coffee
Sentiment from SU - Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Dies - Marianne ~ Poinsettia Die
- Cottage Cutz ~ Winterland Holly
Punches - Word Window and a scalloped border punch
Memento Black inkpad
Copic Markers
Pearls from stash
D/S tape roller
Tacky Glue
Foam Dots
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
jingle Belles - Holiday Traditions ~ On Christmas Day we usually all get together for lunch and then after we have all eaten (way too much) we all sit in the family room and hand out presents. Even when the kids were little, they could only open their stockings and one present and the rest had to wait until later in the day when all the extended family were here. They are all grown up now, some with families of their own and we still give our presents this way!)
Sister Act Card Challenge - Challenge #32 ~ Anything Goes
One Stitch At A Time - Challenge #189 - Holidays
Crafty Calender Challenge - All Things Christmas!
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Challenge 232 ~ Christmas
Here is the sketch for you - pop over to the Incy Wincy Challenge Blog to see what the DT have made with it.
The DT are looking forward to seeing your creations and visiting your blogs too. As time is going past so fast this sketch is great for a Christmas card, but you can make any type of card you want with it.
Thanks for stopping by,
Take Care,
Hugs,
Sandy

What a fun present-giving tradition ... so very glad you joined our holiday traditions at jingle belles.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Sandy! Your Christmas papers are perfect and you've done a terrific job on the image. Some colours are just hard to get them turning out right even with a camera. Sometimes my camera turns purple to blue, so I understand your frustration. No worries Hun. Thanks for playing along with us this week at OSAAT, hope to see you back again soon.

I sympathise my camera changes colours depending on the light-cute image and love the traditional coloured papers and poinsettia--thanks for joining us at OSAAT

Your image is certainly adorable Sandy and a great card design. I know what you mean about scanners. I mostly use my camera too. I don't think scanners can get the depth. Thanks for sharing with us at OSAAT. Good luck. Maggie-DT
