Wow, we actually had sunshine today but finished off tonight with rain. My cold is back and feeling a bit lousy but am here posting my card for the new challenge starting today at Aud Sentiments Challenge blog. That is at least something to feel good about!!!
Our blog is hosting the challenge so we were able to use anything we wanted and I chose an old retired set of Stampin' Up stamps to play with
Here is my card....
Recipe:
White card from stash
DP from stash
Image and Sentiment are both from Stampin' Up stamp sets
Embossing folder was a freebie with a magazine purchase (a friend lent it and the stamps that came with it to create a card for them to make. The layout of this card was also from the magazine. They used an angel stamp but I left mine blank and then finished it off with the above image)
Tim Holtz Distress ink
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Sentiment punch from Stampin'Up
Copic Markers
Pearls from stash
D/S tape roller and Foam Dots
I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Create and Inpsire Challenges - Challenge 49 ~ Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations Challenges - Challenge 255 ~ Seaside, Sunshine and Summer Holidays (extended challenge for summer break until 23rd August)
Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes Challenge
Through the Craft Room Door - July 19th ~ Anything Goes
Classic Design Team Open Challenge Blog - July - Challenge #04 ~ Anything Goes
Okay I need to get some sleep as I have to get up early and pick up my daughter and granddaughter. Drop daughter off to the hospital for her placement and then back home to look after the little one for the day. Only two more weeks of placement and then I'll go back to one day a week babysitting instead of 3.
Love to see you popping in to the challenge blog and entering the challenge. The prize is a gift certificate for crafty shopping to be won!
Thanks for stopping by,
Take care,
Hugs, Sandy
