Greetings from freezing Adelaide, another wet day! I had craft this morning and had to dodge the puddles trying to get my craft gear out of the boot of the car and then again to pack it back in. I came home for lunch and pottered around a bit before deciding I had better go and grab some wood from the pile and put near the front door for tonight. I just started doing that when it decided to bucket down and I got fairly wet - also had to dodge the yucky huntsman spider that was hiding in the wood.
One of my friends, Jane and her sister-in-law came and picked me up and we went to see the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie - we all enjoyed it.
Back home, sorted the fire out and then thought I had better make a card. This one has no stamping as I am entering it into the Unstampabelles Challenge which can be anything but you can only use stamps for the sentiment if necessary.
I'm also entering this into the Lollipop Ladies Challenge as well. The theme for this has fairy floss for the inspiration of the card with the added extra - the use of fibres. I decided to take the term literally and use a fairy and the paper reminds me of the sugar being spun around the machine and turning into the fairy floss.
I've used a pink DSP paper with swirls and it has a bit of a distressed look, matted it onto a pale pink, added a pink heart shaped eyelet and threaded through this pastel coloured knitting thread called "Feathers", I added a 3D fairy with a pink dress and the sentiment is a sticker as are the 3 little hearts at the bottom of the card, Hoping this meets the criteria for both challenges,
Thanks for stopping by today,
