I'm taking a break from creating another DT card and popped in to write up today's post and schedule for tonight. I hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. I'm babysitting again today, this time is's our one and only grandson who will be 4 in a couple of months and at the present he is blissfully snoozing in my bed. He still has an afternoon nap when he is here with me and is quite willing to do so. He shares a room with an older sister and I think they do quite a bit of chatting before they drop off to sleep!

ReplyDeleteWhat a clever card you've created here! Great use of color and I adore how you combined such a sweet little girl image with the more whimsical animals on the side. That pennant banner is so cute and the stripes are the perfect backdrop for it all! I also enjoyed reading your post-- you have a great talent for writing where your words really bring a scene to life! I felt like I was right there with you listening to the washing machine drone on! As a former English teacher, I always appreciate someone who can paint pictures with words! And you make great cards!
