Another day nearly over for me, I taught another Christmas card today at class. I was still missing one of the ladies who was very keen to make cards and hasn't turned up for 3 weeks now. Not sure what's happened to her. It is a community craft group run by a local church and the people that attend don't pay anything so I suppose it is no loss to her if she doesn't come, but it would be nice to know from week to week who is actually going to turn up! I did have 3 sometimes 4 people but only had 1 today. So no waiting for someone else to finish with stamps or cutters etc.
It's been another lovely day, hubby did some more painting after work today so there is still the reek of paint wafting through the house, I wouldn't mind so much but it tends to give me headaches. So I think the room should now be finished and ready for youngest son to start moving things back in to his old room and as soon as he gets another bed, I can get our spare bedroom back!
Well onto my card for today,
I've used a cream cardstock for the base, the DP's are from a mini paper stack by Merci from one of the cheap shops. I used one of my Martha Stewart punches and did two layers of the edging at the bottom of the card. The Die Cuts are both cut with Nellie Snellen Dies. The little bird is from Doodle Pantry ( I think ) and the greeting is called "Little Birthday" made by Stamp-It and inked in SU Real Red. I added a little trail leading from the bird using a brown Marvy Marker.
I would like to enter this into Make It Monday #63 - Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by and also for your wonderful, encouraging comments.
Take Care,
Sandy.
