Well, my weekend is drawing to a rapid close and yep, it's raining outside. It's been a cold day but no rain till late tonight.
It was Member's Meeting at church, my first one since joining in May. So, it was a long morning at church, finishing up there at 12:45 p.m. I left home about 9.20 a.m. and then called into the supermarket on the way home to pick up some fresh rolls for lunch.
Hubby had not stayed for the meeting and when I got home he was just in the throes of selling our daughter's car. Yeah!!! one less vehicle here but there are still too many! She was happy as he got more than she expected for the car and she can give it to her brother to pay half off her current vehicle. Laurie bought it a while ago to do up a bit and sold it to her. All the wheelin' and dealin' that goes on with cars and bikes in this family is a marvel.
We had some baked potatoes for tea tonight with sour cream, ham, beetroot and cheese. Yummy! and I haven't done them for quite a while so we all enjoyed them.
I sat down to make something for tonight and had to really rack my brain to come up with an idea.
This is what I made, hope you like it. I was pleased in the end.
front of card
inside of card ( I decided to back the crumb cake piece of card with the blue and tear just one corner)
Card Base - Blue card from stash
SU Crumb Cake cardstock
DP from My Mind's Eye
SU Punch
Edwin stamp from Magnolia
Copic Markers
Button from stash - I used twine to tie a knot
Hessian - from my son and DIL's wedding table decorations.
Greeting from Annabelle Stamp Set
SU Pink Pirouette Ink ( I stamped the image in the light pink so there would be no lines)
I am entering this into the following challenges:
