Hello, I did a bit of travelling today. I drove my Mum up to Wallaroo, several hours up north, a country town. We picked up my Aunty and her dog and brought them back to Mum's for a bit of a break from everything which is happening in her life at the moment.
We got back mid afternoon and transferred her luggage etc into Mum's car and then they left here and I got myself organised to go grocery shopping. I hunted and gathered at the supermarket and came back home to do a bit of tidying in the kitchen before starting the fire and sitting down and watching a bit of television.
A quiet night at home, and some crafting time too.
Here is my card for today.
Basecard is SU Elegant Eggplant with a layer of DP from an SU paper pack. The floral button DP is from a paper pack by Rosie's Studio called Flower Child
The mouse, reel of cotton, frame for sentiment and the flower on the inside are all from a freebie set of stamps called Thimbles 'n Threads by NITWIT collections. I used Copic Markers to colour the images. The sentiment came from a separate set of stamps (also a freebie)
I pricked holes around the edge of the panel with the mouse and stitched around it with a purple mettalic thread. I backed both the image piece and the floral button DP with SU Wisteria Wonder.
On the inside I used a piece of the SU DP and I cut a piece of white card using Nestie die - Labels Seventeen.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Deep Ocean Challenge - #27 ~ Sewing - Faux or Real
The House That Stamps Built - DCC66 ~ 2 images and 1 sentiment
Well that's it from me for tonight, I hope you have enjoyed your day and managed to find some time to relax.
Take Care,
Sandy
