Marianna, myself and another friend, Fran went off to the cinema to a live streaming of an Andre Riue concert and had a great time, clapping and waving our hands and singing along. The rest of the audience didn't respond much, but we really enjoyed it and treated it as though we were really there!!! They serve Devonshire Tea there so after the concert, we stayed on and had a coffee. It had started at 11.30 a.m. so none of us had eaten lunch. Fran's hubby picked us up and dropped us back to my place and we chatted for a short while and then when the guys came home we got ourselves ready and went out again. Fran and her hubby and also our youngest son came too, so there were 7 of us. We went to a place called the "Bombay Bicycle" We girls, had butter chicken and the guys had different things - pizza, a burger (the bun was shaped like a bicycle seat!) and two of them had mixed grill. We stayed there for quite a while talking and then everyone came back here for a coffee and more talk.
After Fran and Kim left, the others headed off to bed, Adrian has work to go to in the morning and Laurie starts his new job. Marianna and Vaughan will be off back to the farm in the morning too and I will be babysitting the 3 grandchildren!!!
So here I am trying to get my card finished, scanned and posted before heading off to the land of Nod!!!
