I looked after our little grandson today. Lisel dropped him off to me and we headed out to Wednesday craft group. Just two of us on the card table today. I did some colouring of images and Pat was busy stitching a pretty circle with hearts and flowers onto card for a topper. Little Isaac just sat in the pusher and played with a couple of small soft toys, had a little snack and then dropped off to sleep. He did have a smile for a couple of the older ladies who stopped by to "admire" him and to comment on how good he was.
He slept all the way home and then woke up and had lunch and then I tucked him back in our bed for a bit more sleep. After he got picked up, hubby decided we might as well go out for a meal at a local hotel. There is a promotion going for half price meals with lots of different eateries at the moment, so we took advantage of that and had a nice meal.
It took me a while to work out what I wanted to do tonight. I chose to make a Christmas Card for my stash.
Here is what it looks like.
Front of Card
Inside of Card
Recipe:
Black cardstock from stash for the basecard
DP is from Graphic 45 - Christmas Emporium Collection and has been sitting in my stash for a while.
Image is a digi from Meljen's Designs
Copic Markers
Sentiment is from SU Short & Sweet
Holly on inside is from Penny Black ~ Banner of Joy
Ribbon has been recycled from 2 different handmade cards received several years ago.
The bottom one is yellow with stitched edges and the thinner one is a gorgeous cream with sparkly flowers embroidered down the middle.
Nestie Dies - Classic Circles ~ Large and Small
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Die Cuttin Divas - Challenge #76 Anything Goes ~ include diecuts
Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Challenge #72 ~ Let's not be square
Clear It Out Challenge - Christmas in July, must use some green or red or both. I've used green and red on the holly and berries and green in the Designer Paper.
Top Tip Tuesday - Challenge 82 ~ Focus on the Ribbon
Use It Tuesday - Challenge #36 ~ Uncut Paper. My DP from Graphic 45 has been hiding in my stash of Christmas papers for a while, the other side has lovely holly and berries all over it - I'm like a lot of you I like to keep the pretty ones for a while (LOL)
ABC Christmas Challenge - O for Open It Up
Well I had better get going. Thanks for popping in and for taking the time to comment. I haven't managed to do any this week but will have some time on the weekend so will do it then.
Take Care,
Sandy
