Hi again,
After a quick coffee with friends this morning, I came back home and spent the rest of the day with our two youngest grandchildren. When little Isaac went to sleep, Layla decided she wanted to make a card, I wish I had taken a scan of it before she went home as it turned out quite nice. She is only four, but did a good job on colouring an image of a surfer and helping to make a surfboard background. She is quite keen on making cards and usually has a bit of a go when I have the time to help her. She really likes turning the handle on the Cuttlebug and making diecuts and embossing.
I played around with making my DT card for Make It Monday and just have to get a decent picture of it.
My card for today has some paper embroidery on as the main feature. This is one of my other crafting passions although I don't do it as often as I would like.
Here it is:
Front of card
Inside of card
Recipe:
SU Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the basecard
Red and Green Metallic threads
Rose stitch Pattern
DP from Stash
Pearls from Stash
Sentiment from SU stamp set "It's Your Day"
SU Cherry Cobbler inkpad
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 232 ~ A stitch in time
Thanks for stopping by and for those that took the time to comment, thankyou, they are read and much appreciated too.
