The weekend is about to start in just a few hours. Hubby is going to a football reunion and has gone to bed for a few hours sleep and will get up sometime during the night and head off to Peake, a farming community in the Mallee Region here in Sth. Australia.
Our son and his girlfriend went out for a drive in the hills tonight and ended up hitting a large kangaroo. So there is a fair bit of damage to his car and the poor Roo had to be put out of his misery. Not a good end for anyone!!! He was travelling under the speed limit too because his girlfriend was feeling a bit nauseous going around the bends through the Adelaide Hills.
I had the two of the grandchildren today, still have their colds and runny noses but not quite as bad now. Little Isaac had about 3 hours sleep after lunch and Layla played and watched kiddy programmes on the telly.
I had better get on now and share my card because as usual I am up really late.
