Hi, this week is speeding away quickly! Our youngest daughter came over this morning and she and I went off to the travel agents to book tickets to Vietnam. It's all a bit nerve wracking trying to work out where we want to go when everything is unfamiliar. Hubby has left the planning to me and I'm just as in the dark as he is, LOL. Anyway, we now have a more firm itinerary and even a small tour for two nights on a junk out of Halon Bay where there are lots of little islands. Hope we don't get seasick! We will be all going our separate ways after our son's wedding - our daughter will be travelling with us so that will be good. If hubby decides he wants to do something different he can and I will still have company and feel able to out and about a bit.
That took up all morning and then I dropped her off so she could go and organise her passport and I headed off to craft. I did manage in between playing scramble with a couple of the girls, to colour two images and the one I've used on my card tonight is one of them.
Hubby left his phone home today and didn't come home when he normally does so I ended up still going to our regular outing for tea with friends, no choir practise so back home again and pottered around. He got home quite late so that means he won't have to start early tomorrow morning.
Okay onto the card.....

I've been trying to use up scraps, so this card was made using scraps except for the DP
Recipe:
SU Early Espresso for the cardbase
Blue card from stash
DP - brown one is from Glitz paper pack ~ French Kiss
- Brick wall one is from Smart Kraft - New Deco Designs ~ Autumn(this would be one of my oldest DP paper pads- I think it must be 5 years old at least!!!, if not more.)
Image is a digi from Justinklined called Aubery Bumblethorpe
Sentiment is from a clear stamp set by paper Xtra - stamped straight onto the DP
Nestie Die - Curved Rectangles
Copic Markers
Memento Black inkpad
Foam dots (image is popped up)
DS tape roller
