Hi everyone, another scheduled card, have been away and then back home for about 1 1/2 days and am off again to Hindmarsh Island for the weekend. It's been a rush to get 3 projects done to get into DT blogs and schedule posts but I'm nearly done!
The theme this week for 613 Avenue Create is to create a card for Grandparent's Day or make a card for a grandchild/child and we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and Shelly's Images
I've chosen a fabulous adventure image from The Paper Shelter called Say Arr and here is how I showcased it..........
Front of card
Inside of card
Recipe:
Black cardstock from stash for the basecard and mattes
White card from stash
DP is from Crafter's Choice ~ Cheeky Pirate
Nestie Die is Small Deckled Rectangles
Image is Say Arr from The Paper Shelter
Background image I found on the net it was a colouring page and I coloured it with Copic Markers
(I'm really pleased how it turned out!)
The Pirates only sign and the little chest were also Internet finds, I coloured the chest in with Copics
Sentiment is from a freebie set from a magazine purchase
Copic Markers
Memento Black inkpad
Foam Dots
DS tape roller
I am entering the following challenges:
Wordplay Saturday - Childhood
Jellypark Challenges - All about Kids
Sister Act Card Challenge - Challenge #23 ~ Anything Goes (logo added to sidebar)
Why not pop over and enter the challenge?
Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes - must be birthday project (logo added to sidebar)
Well I had better get organised and pack my bag again and get some bedding sorted too.
We would love to see you popping in to the neighborhood and entering the challenge. We love to see what you create.
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
Sandy
