I'm late again, I've been mucking about on the computer and also watching CSI Miami and have only just finished my card, getting to be quite a habit of mine LOL.
Adrian decided to come with Mum and myself to Wallaroo today. It was a good day for travelling, not too hot and warm enough to walk around when we got there. We had lunch at a hotel and I chose Honey, mustard chicken. It was foul!!! excuse the pun!. It looked disgusting as it was rice and then the chicken mixture just slopped onto the plate, looked like someone had thrown up. Ugh! It was chicken pieces in a very gluggy sauce and it was revolting. I didn't eat it after the first taste and ended up just having salad and a bit of Adrian's meal. He had corned beef and that was okay, also pinched one of Mum's prawn twists and ate only half of that.
We then travelled to another town close by and went to the butcher's and had a quick look around before taking Aunty Nola home. Adrian drove both ways and we got back home around about 4.30 - 5 p.m. I think. It was peak hour traffic anyway, Mum got her car and went home and Adrian took the dogs for a walk. My daughter, Katie, dropped her two dogs off for another overnight stay and my youngest son came over after work to pick up a barbeque. We ended up just having 3 little sausage rolls each for tea, (Mum made them for me and I usually have to hide them from the kids so I can actually get some - I did give Laurie 6 to take home with him)
So now to my card....
The basecard is SU Garden Green, DSP are both from small pads again from the cheap shop. I've had them several years, so it's good to be actually using them up.
The diecut I think is SU but I cut it a while ago and had in a container. The image is from SU set "The Nicest Things" and the sentiment is from SU set "So Happy For You" I've coloured the image with Copic Markers. I also added an scalloped punched edge.
I'm going to enter this into "It's a frame up" challenge over at Sir Stampalot and also Make It Monday Linky Party #53
