Hello again, hope you have been enjoying your day, thanks for stopping by today.
I headed off for craft this morning and Adrian went to the Royal Show. His last day home for a little while as he flies interstate in the morning. I taught my class how to make the front diamond fold card that I shared last Tuesday on the blog. Went well until we went to do the stamping and I had brought all the stamps except for the main image... well, luckily it took them most of the lesson to measure, score and cut the card out and also the DSP and extra card panels. I've now put the stamp in my basket to it will still be there next Wednesday.
We had two of the boys and one future DIL over for tea tonight. Roast Pork and vegies. They kept bugging me to make Self saucing Choc pudding or Caramel Dumplings for dessert. I said "NO" because I've just been diagnosed with Diabetes and have already had one family function where I made sweets (and ate them, LOL!) so gotta behave myself for the rest of the week.
Onto describing my card for you. The basecard is SU "Certainly Celery" and this lovely DSP which was given to me today in a pile of bits and pieces, so I don't know who made it. The image is Marci from La-La Land Crafts and I masked her and stamped the park bench from C.C. Designs behind her. She was coloured with Copics. I stamped it again and paper pieced her trouser legs, again colouring with the Copics. I used Creamy Caramel Ink to distress the edges of the DSP and also the oval punched sentiment piece. Red and white baker's twine to finish off.
I'm going to enter this into the Lollipop Ladies last Challenge.
Nearly midnight now, so goodnight catch you all tomorrow,
Sandy

She is so cute... love her hair, eyes and lips. And that bench that she is sitting on is so real. Nice distressing as well. Such a sweet, shabby chic card!
