Hi everyone, it's been a long day. My DIL and her Mum came this afternoon to get my granddaughter and were going off to the Royal Show - an event that's held every September. My son had asked if my husband and I wanted to go and I was going to stay home. In the end I went and my husband decided not to go as he likes all the events that are held earlier in the day and he would have missed them all. We took the kids to see the baby farm animals when we first got there and then the other grandma and I took the girls to look at the dogs and the fish and birds whilst Lisel fed the baby. So we were late getting back home as we met up with my son who came from work and then had something to eat. We went and bought the kids showbags, which takes time, although their 6 year old had made a list of what she wanted and stuck to it, very unusual for her age! I'm proud of her. Made it much easier and no tantrums about what they could or couldn't have. With two stops for feeding the baby, also time consuming we ended the night with my son and the two girls going on the ferris wheel while we watched and then a short walk back to the cars and home. Glad my back was better or I wouldn't have been able to go.
So, I've just put my card for today together. I did stamp the image and colour it on Thursday so it was just a matter of sorting out a layout and picking papers etc.
The basecard is SU Certainly Celery. I think the DSP is also SU - the buttons were from stash and I had to cut the backs off them, ribbon was also from stash and I've used this cute Sarah Kay stamp and coloured with Copics.
Not sure it is quite what I envisioned, I think I might have rushed it. Oh well, it's done - LOL, I can always rip it all up and start again!!
Thanks for popping by and also for get better wishes.
Take Care,
Sandy
