A Christmas Tree Fairy

 Wow, this year has gone by so quickly. We're all another year older and I hope it's been a happy year for you all and if not, I wish you all the best for the coming year. It's been an up and down one for me.

So.... onto the challenge this month at 613 Avenue Create.  It's Anything Goes with the Optional Twist of "Any Winter Holiday"  I've chosen Christmas for my card.

Happy Birthday Carnation Card Challenge 5 The Crafty Addicts

Challenge time at The Craft Addicts! Time to get those creative juices working and come over to the challenge blog and enter some of your creations. We'd love to see them. 

I've chosen this little carnation stamp and a die from my stash for the topper on my card. I hope you like it.

I'm afraid I had great trouble getting a good photo as the gold Mirror cardstock has changed colour in the photo. It is definitely all gold not yellow or black as it appears here in different sections of the card. I also added a solid diecut in gold behind the white diecut so the gold can be seen shining through in real life.

Love a Nautical theme!

 Hi and welcome to my blog. It's time for another challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and we are an Anything Goes challenge with an Optional Twist. The twist this month is: Nautical. I enjoyed making this card with a fab piece of nautical themed paper that was given to me last week along with some stamps and dies for use with my card class that I run at a Friendship Centre. The stamps are from my stash.. I added the sailor the knotted rope image and the sentiment.

Car and caravan

 Hi, it’s time for another challenge at The Crafty Addicts. I’ve used a patterned base card from a box of kit cards that a friend gave me and I’ve added my own bits and pieces to create my finished card. The car and caravan are from a free set of stamps with a magazine purchase. The clouds and sentiments are from another couple of stamp sets in my stash. I die cut the strip of black.

Summer time.... 613 Avenue Create Challenge

 Time for another challenge...hope this finds you all eager to create and enter the June challenge at 613 Avenue Create with our Anything Goes Challenge with the Optional Twist of Summer time/Living is easy! 

Our sponsor for this month is Polkadoodles Stamps and Papercraft and here is what I made from one of the images.  I've partially cased this layout from a pin on Pinterest but have left out some of the layers that were on the pinned card. I though that I didn't need anything extra as I've added little tiny diecut clouds.

Recipe - Hello Honey and White cardstocks, Paper from Kaisercraft. Sentiment from SU stamp set and image from Polkadoodles.

613 Avenue Create May Challenge....Say It With Flowers

 I enjoyed creating this month's DT card for 613 Avenue Create Challenge Blog. It's an Anything Goes Challenge with an Optional Twist...Say it With Flowers. We have Mirtilamente as out Sponsor this month. Here is the card I made using this cute little dragon digi.

I've used White and SU Hello Honey cardstocks, Paper from stash, dragon from Mirtilamente and the flowers were from an SU stamp set which I cut into stems and rearranged on the card with a bit of string for the bow.

White cardstock  and scraps of green and red cardstock for the circles. Paper from stash. Stamps were from freebie stamp sets mostly. Image coloured with Copic Markers.

Let's Stencil

 Hi everyone, I've once again been missing in action. A few family issues making me feel not so good, but just need to learn to let go and focus on what I have and who I have in my life...

So... thought I would get myself together and get my projects done and blogged for 613 Avenue Create.

April's challenge is as always an Anything Goes with an Optional Twist....the twist this month is - Let's Stencil. I've used a stencil that had a few different sections on it to do the background on my card.  This is what I created.....

I've used Pacific Point and White cardstocks. Stencil is called Textures from Seven Paper Dolls, Tim Holtz distressed inks and Visible Image stamp set - Jake Skates.

Oh What fun !

It's challenge time again over at 613 Avenue Create and as always it's Anything Goes but our twist this month is Fancy Folds  and Cuts. Our sponsor is Conie Fong Art and Design.

Here is what I made using one of the fun images..... A single piece of card cut and folded so it stands by itself. I decided to go with a Christmas theme. The card folds down to C6 size so fits in a normal envelope.

I've used: White and Red cardstocks. Designer Paper from stash. Bits and pieces from an ornate die. I cut the snowflakes off it and also some of the swirly pieces and rearranged them. I also used a snowflake that I cut with a friend's single dies. The image is from Conie Fong and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up. Copic Markers and Wink of Stella (White... had a small issue with it blobbing and messing up my colouring but I decided to just go for it as I'd already coloured the image twice because it did it the first time as well but it was a bigger blob and did more damage.) It's very frustrating when you get to the very end of colouring etc and it just releases too much and there is not a thing you can do about it.....cry!

But first Coffee

Hi everyone, I'm running late for the challenge at 613 Avenue Create. I've finally sorted the printer out to allow me to get black images instead of green ones and the right colour for the coloured one! The challenge is anything goes with the Optional twist of  - Your Favourite Drink.

So.... here is my very late DT card. Our sponsor is Mirtillamente and we were given this great sentiment to use. I've added an image from a previous DT sponsor to complete my card and have used a coffee bean stamp from a freebie set of stamps with magazine purchase.

Floral in Purple and Yellow

It's been cold the last few days with rain and then sunshine in the afternoon. Looking forward to the end of winter. Hope all is well in your part of the world.

It's time for another challenge at Simply Create Too. We've all had lots of ups and downs over the last part of the year and some of us are just getting back into the swing of things. So.... my first post for the DT for a while and the theme is "Favourite Colours"

Purple is my most favourite but it looks great with yellow so I've combined the two in my card. The background is a glossy yellow and gold paper and I've put it on a purple cardstock and embellished with some purple sparkly acrylic gems.

Pretty Succulents

 March already and a new challenge is beginning at 613 Avenue Create. As usual, an Anything Goes theme with an Optional Twist. This time it's Succulent Inspiration.

I decided to go with this gorgeous succulent themed paper from the Paper Mill called Cactus Club. I've embellished it with a sweet little succulent character and sentiment from Uniquely Creative stamp set - Sweet Succulents. I've used a pinky purple cardbase which matches in well with the paper and also a white rectangle diecut for the inside.

Valentine Whimsy

Wow, Valentines Day is just around the corner and the new challenge at 613 Avenue Create this month is Anything Goes with an Optional Twist of Valentine Whimsy.

I've chosen to do the twist and have used this whimsical stamp from Stampin' Up to create my card.    Here it is.... 

I've taken a photo on some pretty heart floral paper. The card base is Black and the DP is from my stash. I can't remember the maker of the heart Die. Other dies used were Nestie deckled rectangles (large and small) Copic Markers, D/S tape roller and red pearls from Kaisercraft.

A Valentine for those of us that are a bit older!

Simply Create Too has a new challenge and the theme is Valentine's Day. 

Here is what I've come up with.....

 I've used red cardstock, white cardstock and DP from stash. The stamped image is from Penny Black and is called Tom and Lilly. The sentiment is I think from Close to my Heart (or from SU, i've had several stamp sets out lately)
