Isn't time just flying past again? It's nearly the weekend again too!!! I decided not to go to craft today as I needed to buy groceries and check out some recipes to make cupcakes for the engagement party tomorrow. My daughter bought some of those pretty hard paper cases for me to use and the first batch of cakes didn't rise evenly so even though they taste good they don't look pretty, will ice them anyway and see if that makes them any better. Hope tomorrow's batch turn out okay as I can't get any more of the paper cases unless I waste time hunting for them. The shop she bought them from is near her and too far for me to go in the morning.
Will have to miss tomorrow's craft session too, this will be two weeks in a row and the girls are moving on to something new.
Well here is my card for today,
I've used SU Night of Navy for the basecard and made the fold at the top of the card. The light purple and white star DP is from stash. I used a nestie shape to cut around the image and then coloured it with Copic Markers. The image is from a Kanban set called "Damask Divas - Let's Do Lunch" I traced around the outside edge of the marker onto a piece of Night of Navy and cut out to make a matte for the image. The sentiment is from SU set "A Word for You" and inked with a blue Marvy Marker. I made 3 little flowers from scraps of the DP and put a little white pearl in each centre, I added 3 little leaf sprays to finish it off.
The inside was decorated to match the front using some more DP and the nestie diecuts.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Make It Monday Linky Party - #89 ~ Anything Goes
Moving Along with the Times - Keep it Real Challenge - no fantasy
Sassy Studio Designs - Dare to be Sassy Thursday #125 ~ Use 3 of something
Well that's it from me today, I may have to schedule a post tomorrow night depending how late we get home from the party.
Thanks for dropping in today and for the sweet comments too.
Take Care,
Sandy
