Well, another weekend finished, the last one for May. The months seem to be gaining momentum.
We went to church this morning and then went off for our lunch with all the family (except the youngest who had to work) to celebrate the two youngest grandchildren's birthday. The 4 year old thought it great fun celebrating her birthday twice and enjoyed blowing out the candles on her cake. The one year old boy has some food allergies so his other "Mama" made him a little choc muffin that he could eat and he made lots of mess with it, but he was fun to watch enjoying every little bit!!!
Hubby has had a bad back all week so went to bed when we got home mid afternoon and stayed there until about 7.30p.m. when I decided we had better eat tea. He only stayed up for about an hour and then back to bed to rest his back some more.
Well here is my card for today.
I've used all SU cardstock for this one.
Basecard is Choc Chip and then a layer of Whisper White (I ran it through an embossing folder with roses on) The main panel is Not Quite Navy and Whisper White with this cutie from Annabelle Stamps which was coloured with Copic Markers. The other two small panels are Marina Mist and I finished off with a sentiment from a Kanban clear set of stamps - inked with Close to Cocoa and then I went over it with a Jelly Roll Pen. I added some choc chip coloured candy in the bottom right hand corner and also some bling to the icing on the cupcake.
The inside has a layer of Not Quite Navy and then a layer of Whisper White. I stamped another image from the same stamp set and also put a little bit of colour on the cupcakes.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
4 CraftyChicks - 4CCC#91 ~ Colour Challenge - Choc Chip, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy & Whisper White
Annabelle Stamps Blog Challenge - ABSC050 - Sketch Challenge
Let's Ink It Up - Challenge ~ Bling - No digi stamps allowed.
Hope you all had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Thanks for stopping by and also for the comments left for me to read. I visited a few blogs over the weekend and if I didn't get to yours, I hope to during the week.
Take Care,
Sandy
