Hello, nice to "see" you all again. I had a catch up day today, got the dishes done and did some clothes washing. Still not very good drying weather and so had to hang over the clothes rack by the fire again tonight. I was starting to run low on tea-towels too, so got them washed and threw them in the dryer. I always like to see them folded and sitting in the drawer, LOL. wish I didn't have to put them to use!!!!
I had so many phone calls today, people wanting to sell me stuff or come and inspect the roof so they could eventually make a sales pitch. I made a call about an information morning for a cruise that I am planning on going on next year. Caught up with my Mum on the phone and my DIL and also a friend from the country. She is arranging tickets to go to a live stream of Andre Rieu in June. He had come to Adelaide a couple of times and we went together to the concerts but it appears he will not be making any more visits here so this is the next best thing other than buying the DVD. I checked my e-mails and found that the person I blocked as a new follower had sent my information on her on-line business saying that I had registered for it and giving a link to go to. Well it went straight in the "bin" and hopefully I won't hear from her again. Makes me cross, because it makes you wary of visiting new blogs and there are so many genuine bloggers/crafters out there that just want to share their craft and people like this make it hard for them. Ok, that's enough said about that subject!!
On to sharing the card I made tonight, oops, back in a sec, have to let the dogs in to go to bed as they are barking for some reason. They are usually in by now,
Ok, back again.
I've used SU Early Espresso for the card base and made it a side fold card. I then layered a piece of SU So Saffron and a Dp with a square pattern (from stash). Another strip of the Early Espresso and a strip of a second DP called All Boy by Petals & Possibilities. This one has been in my stash for a while too. The cute boy is another Bugaboo Digi and I coloured it with Copic Markers and then used a circle die to cut it out. I cut another slightly larger circle in the Early Espresso to matte it on. The sentiment is inked with a matching SU ink and is from a clear Kanban set of stamps. I carried the theme on into the inside of the card using just one of the DP's.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Make It Monday Linky Party - #90 - Anything Goes
Robyn's Fettish Challenge Blog - Challenge #108 ~ Anything Goes
Colour Me Creative Copic Challenge - #43 ~ Anything Goes
Little Claire's Designs - #21 ~ Male theme
That's all I have time to look for tonight so thankyou for stopping by again and I have enjoyed reading the comments left for me
Take Care,
Sandy
